About the role


As Associate Manager, Tech Services, you are the global End-to-End owner of the Indirect Procurement Tech solutions. You are ensuring your solution is global and that it runs smoothly in the countries where deployed. Gatekeeper and architect, you are developing the strategies, priorities, initiatives and communication plans that maximize value, adoption and satisfaction of the solution. You own the delivery of the solution and its associated metrics (SLA,…). You also ensure your solution evolves including enhancements requests management and prioritization together with the business. You own overall incident management for your solution.
Through your business partner, you are in touch with the markets and plants, working closely with the Business Process Owners (BPO), Business process Leaders (BPL) and the PTP Buying Center team, and are able to understand and identify specific needs. You very often run the network of key users / super-users the regions / markets.


You are proficient at managing the BPOs/BPLs expectations and coordinate with project teams and vendor what has to be achieved. You control any implementation that touches your solution and manage if any dependency with other solutions. You also ensure documentation is up to date. As resource part of projects, you are responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into detailed function specifications, managing requests for changes to the specifications or approving functional specifications. You can also act as consultant on your solutions.
Besides the SAP SRM Solution ownership, you will support the Service Manager on future PTP strategy to continue our digitalization of the PTP processes. This role can be coupled with a Project Management role.
At this position, you will report to a Director/Senior Manager, Tech Services.



  • Impeccable end-to-end management of your solution(s)
    • Plan, Build and Run your solutions and integrations tmeet the Tech strategy and business requirements in line with future S/4 HANA deployment. Deploy Global Procure-To-Pay solutions specifically for SAP SRM.
    • Guides continuous improvement efforts for your solutions, develop business cases, understand your users. Review business requests for service enhancements, as well as Tech service changes requests for standards enforcement - then prioritize the work, in line with the solution/service strategy. Understand the impact of new technology for your solutions and adapt plans and architecture accordingly.
    • Ensures the support of existing applications, solutions, systems through the adequate support center. Formulate, negociate and maintain SLA (Service Level Agreement) for your solutions. Measure and communicate at relevant frequency key performance metrics for your solutions- analyze data tdiscover opportunities for improvement.
    • Governs Tech security, compliance and Tech audits for your solution
    • Effectively manage and strengthen vendor relationships
    • Create and maintain documentation for configuration throughout the system development lifecycle
    • Train super users/end-users on established programs
  • Business and Tech organization engagement on your solution(s)
    • Manage communication and alignment with stakeholders (build strong relationship outside Tech). Towards business management, be the escalation point for performance issues/outages.
    • Create excellent relationships within the other Tech organizations. Act as a consultant/expert tother IT services as needed.
    • Develop your network, internally and externally and leverage it
    • Create lasting beneficial relationships with strategic external partners

Skills and Experience

  • Deep Business Knowledge of Procure-to-Pay and specifically Indirect Procurement - Understand the business processes. Ability to develop business cases.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP SRM and its basic integration with other areas is a must, expertise on S/4 HANA is valuable. Nice to have knowledge of: SAP MM, SAP Concur, OpenText VIM, ABAP (minimum debug level), Integration/EDI, other PTP tech solutions. Certification is a plus when applicable.
  • Experience with a System Development Lifecycle methodology
  • Experience communicating technical solutions to the business
  • Experience in IT service delivery, with direct business engagement
  • Experience of managing vendors relationship
  • Experience/exposure to different markets dynamics/specificities/cultures
  • Experience in project management (Agile and Waterfalls)
  • Proficiency in English language skills

  • Can communicate technical solutions in a way that can be easily understood by business
  • Critical-thinker and possess good data analysis skills
  • Able to work individually or as part of cross functional teams that are global, diverse and remote with the same efficiency
  • Able to manage the matrix through top class collaboration skills (with business, Tech, top-to-bottom and sideways)
