About the role

As Account Manager Off-Trade you are responsible for the sales, positioning and visibility of our brands within Specialized Retail Channel (liquor independent & franchise liquor stores and cash & carry) in your area.  You will create the legacy of Bacardi by developing strategic relationships that will significantly affect Bacardi’s presence, volume and visibility in your area.
  • You will be responsible to deliver key revenue targets as determined by the Country financial plan.
  • You will develop, and maintain, effective and strategic relationships with Key Customers and influence the positioning of Bacardi brands in your area.
  • You will use the Picture of Success and approach to activate our brands to influence consumers at the point
    of purchase.

Responsibilities

Deliver Results & Excellence in Execution
  • Optimize and implement the Bacardi Sales Model within the Specialized Retail Channel in your area
  • Drive, agree, execute and monitor specific annual deals with the Independent Liquor Stores to deliver “win-win”value to Bacardi and customers
  • Working according the "Picture of Success"
  • Achieving sales targets
  • Acquisition of, and building up of relationship with new customers
  • Building and maintaining effective long-term relationships with customers and important stakeholders
  • Independent acquisition and relationship maintenance of/with new customers
  • Increase distribution and visibility of our brands
  • Advise on and implement shelf plans and actions
  • Implement product testing and training
  • Provide reliable reports and analyzes
  • Analyze current and potential markets, identifying and mapping trends in order to timely tackle growth or loss
    potential (opportunities and threats)
  • Gather market and competitors information identifying trends and competitive activities in the market for
    marketing, trade marketing and sales
  • Identify and use opportunities in the market
  • Process customer, visit and order data in the CRM system
Develop Talent and Capability
  • Implement standardized Commercial best practices

Skills and Experience

  • MBO/HBO diploma
  • Experience in closing annual deals
  • Strong track record of delivery with Customers
  • Strong negotiation skillsStrong analytical skills
  • First hand field sales experience
  • Demonstrable affinity with the independent liquor store channel and cash & carry
  • Working knowledge of sales effectiveness tools processes and category management
  • Demonstrable track record of performance in Commercial
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English language skills (written and oral)
  • You have commercial insight, strong negotiation skills, a strong drive to continuously improve, understand the
    importance of strong brands and know how to actively promote them. You are proactive, professional, energetic,
    pragmatic, customer and goal oriented.
