About the role

Your Opportunity

As Account Manager Off-Trade you are responsible for the sales, positioning, visibility and brand education of our brands within 
Specialized Retail Channel in your area. 

You will create the legacy of Bacardi by developing strategic relationships that will significantly affect Bacardi’s presence, volume and visibility in your area. This role is varied and a large percentage of your time will be interacting with the key Customers. As a result, you can expect to be travelling extensively to stay connected to all stakeholders.

About You 

The primo we are looking for loves building effective relationships and can influence their environment for the needs of the brands. You enjoy educating our customers and consumers about the history and use of our products. Preferably you live in Apeldoorn, Arnhem or Amersfoort. But most of all you get energy from hitting (and beating) our key revenue targets!

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Optimize and implement the Bacardi Sales Model within the Specialized Retail Channel in your area 
  • Drive, agree, execute, and monitor specific annual deals with the Independent Liquor Stores to deliver “win-win” value to Bacardi and customers 
  • Acquisition of, and building up of relationship with new customers
  • Building and maintaining effective long-term relationships with customers and important stakeholders
  • Educating and training our customers and consumers about the rich history and proper use of our brands.
  • Represent our brands during specific brand fairs and/or tastings
  • Organising tasting sessions for your customers
  • Increase distribution and visibility of our brands
  • Advise on and implement shelf plans and actions
  • In-store execution of pre-arranged promotions and agreements
  • Achieving sales targets 
  • Provide reliable reports and analyses 
  • Analyse current and potential markets, identifying and mapping trends in order to timely tackle growth or loss potential (opportunities and threats) 
  • Gather market and competitors’ information identifying trends and competitive activities in the market for marketing, trade marketing and sales 
  • Administration of sales process, customer, visit and order data in the CRM system.

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • A completed degree on MBO or HBO level.
  • Experience in closing annual deals 
  • Strong track record of delivery with Customers 
  • Great communication skills both in Dutch and English (written and oral)
  • Strong negotiation skills 
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • First hand field sales experience 
  • Demonstrable affinity with the independent liquor store channel and cash & carry
  • Working knowledge of sales effectiveness tools processes and category management 
  • Demonstrable track record of performance in Commercial 
  • You have commercial insight, strong negotiation skills, a strong drive to continuously improve,
