About the role

WHAT DOES AN ACCOUNT MANAGER OFF-TRADE LUXEMBURG DO?

As Account Manager Off-Trade (Classic Retail, petroshops, specialized liquor stores), you will be responsible for maximizing sales in your area. You will create the legacy of Bacardi Martini by using our “Picture of Success” vision, that will significantly help you increasing the presence and the visibility of our brands in stores. You will guarantee the perfect execution of the plans agreed with our Key Customers at national level.
In addition to this field role, you will also be responsible for creating value by generating revenue and building strategic relationships with key independent clients in your region,
specifically indirect Off-Trade customers.
In both missions, you will always seek out new opportunities for value growth and influence the positioning of Bacardi Martini brands in your area.

front-line sales role and working closely with key customers also means that you’ll be
the closest to our consumers. You will be the eyes and the ears of the company, so you will need to proactively share insights that will help Bacardi Martini to adapt the strategy when and where it matters.

Responsibilities

WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:
  • Maximize sales in your area by implementing the “Picture of Success” vision of Bacardi-Martini on the shop floor
  • Defend/Grow market share of Bacardi-Martini in your area
  • Deliver results & excellence in execution to achieve ambitious sales targets
  • Understand customers strategies and how to leverage the Bacardi strategy to grow mutual business
  • Drive, agree, and execute customer Joint Business Plans that deliver “win-win” value to Bacardi and customers on short & long term
  • Review the performance with key independent (indirect) customers on a regular basis (Business Reviews & Selling Stories)
  • Own the sales forecast process with your external / internal partners
  • Embed a customer centric approach in everything you do and proactively gather and share insights that can be relevant for internal key stakeholders (National KAM, Category Development, Marketing & Trade Marketing…)

Skills and Experience

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY:
  • Proven track record of delivering strong results with Customers in a commercial role
  • Knowledge of the Luxemburgish market / off trade channel
  • Demonstrated strong negotiation skills
  • Preferably knowledge of sales effectiveness tools processes, trade marketing and category management
  • Good financial acumen and P&L understanding
  • Strong analytical, planning, and time managements skills
  • Well-developed communication / presentation skills (Active Listening) 
  • Hands-on and pragmatic attitude
  • You easily deal with complexity
  • You are a Team player

THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCES ARE PREFERED:
  • Experience in the FMCG environment, in Spirits Industry and/or Beverages would be a distinct advantage. 
  • Nevertheless, the eagerness to learn, the energy and the right mindset will be considered as real assets.
