About the role

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

As Accounting Manager, you will provide accurate and reliable financial information to finance manager and Korea leadership team. 
Supervise day to day accounting activities in accordance with accounting principle and global policy to control organization’s financial resources.

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be:

SAP implementation
  • Order to cash: Actively participate overall procedure setup with non-finance team, SAP consultants
  • Record to Report implementation (BI): Check actual F/S properly produced
  • Purchase to Pay: (Implemented process) Error checking and follow up with SAP consults by conducting monthly closing

Banking and treasury  

  • Overseas / local payment (using local internet banking & SAP treasury system)
  • Reconciliation of intercompany transactions & Documentation of intercompany payment
  • Monitor monthly bank account reconciliation and cash sweeping activities
  • Prepare monthly cash flow status reporting and forecast to enable company healthy working
  • Support Working Capital management with Finance manager

Accounting and financial reporting

  • Managing COA and Show clear guide for users
  • Lead and prepare closing with shared service team by maintaining the full sets of accounting ledger and prepare accounting voucher accordingly         
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly analytical reports and ensure the financial statements are prepared in a timely manner and comply with the monthly reporting schedule from HQ.  
  • Prepare supplemental A/C details related to marketing & operating related costs
  • Ensure proper recording of provisions, accrual and financial record
  • Reconciliation differences between IFRS book and local GAAP book in line with HQ reporting
  • Assist finance manager for preparation of periodic variance analysis, margin, and cost
  • Condition setting in SAP yearly basis with Finance manager and finance shared service team

Statutory reporting, tax

  • Comply with all local statutory requirements such as VAT filing, corporate income tax filing with no issue
  • Active preparation of local statutory audit and financial statement as per Korean GAAP
  • Prepare and report Tax Sheets report quarterly basis                                    
  • Process tax related data including corporate income tax return  

Skills and Experience

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
  • Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work cross functionally at a local and international level
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Have a good understanding of the end to end Procure to Pay process
  • Self-starter who can work independently, with integrity in fast paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task, able to set priorities and work cross-functional together with other colleagues

PERSONAL QUALITIES – SHARE OUR FOUNDER’S PASSION AND ENTREPRENEURIAL FLAIR
  • Bachelor of Business Administration preferred
  • +/10 years relevant experience in accounting area
  • Familiar with Korean taxation regulation and treasury management     
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Must have SAP experience
  • Strong excel skills
