About the role

Your Opportunity

The IT Digital Factory team counts on a well defined SDLC process, starting with ideation and design thinking and ending in different releases and sprint cycles based on scrum, till a product reaches its maturity stage. In this role, the Agile Delivery Manager will contribute to Digital Products delivery and communications as well as user satisfaction and implementation success. You will be responsible for managing conflicts, risks, communication and play a pivotal role in the overall successful delivery of the Digital Products.

About You

We need an experienced Agile Delivery Manager who acts as an enabler for digital initiatives in Bacardi. You will have hands on experience in delivering products in the Digital domain and a good understanding of Agile and Digital concepts and technologies. To be successful in this role you must possess equal amounts of project management expertise and stakeholder management.


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Partner closely with internal customers, technology teams, and delivery partners to help define objectives, scope, budget, resource needs, and success criteria associated with proposed and approved products
  • Setting expectations - as an agile delivery manager your team will look to you for benchmarking and monitoring expectations, periodic reviews, and adherence to cultural and technical best practices.
  • Putting out fires - inevitably, problems will occasionally arise that the individual or the team will not be able to solve on their own. As the manager, it’s still your responsibility to take that ball and run with it so everyone can get back to work.
  • Conflict resolution, focusing on agile values of openness, honesty and respect, ability to track and remove impediments.
  • Champion the Agile Process - as a manager, you will be expected to get behind the move to agile and support it in both your words and your actions.
  • Participate in Transition Planning - Agile transformation promotes self-organized teams that work efficiently on their own, which involves strategic planning. It’s up to management to facilitate multi-team interaction and collaboration to meet overarching department or organizational goals.
  • Find Ways to Reduce Waste - as an Agile manager, you will be expected to continually improve workflow and maximize efficiency by eliminating impediments

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Consulting or project management (at least 5-8 yrs) experience in Digital products domain
  • Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc, including backlog tracking & grooming, burndown metrics, velocity, features, user stories etc.
  • Agile Project management background (at least 3-5 yrs), including project delivery.
  • Proven experience in Web solutions, eCommerce, with CPG or Retail experience if possible.
  • Good knowledge of software development processes and procedures, databases, including devops tools involved and continuous integration, continuous testing and deployment practices.
  • International background, used to work in distributed environments and geographies, with insourced and outsourced development models.
  • Experience acting as scrum master, Scrum master certification is a plus.
  • Experience on Mobile development & salesforce project a plus
  • Proven experience working in a similar role.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business or similar field
