About the role

Your Opportunity

Opportunity to engage with business partners and IT to understand requirements from Global Data Services Team and other parts of the organization. You will drive the design, master data execution, and UAT for future state capabilities within the platform, mainly in the commercial area. You will look for opportunities to optimize the platform structure based on the current state and future state roadmap and provide ongoing input to the platform managers around data integration opportunities. You will be responsible for driving solution adoption and continuous improvement initiatives across the markets. You will develop a close working relationship with Regional/markets Business Partners, business super users, the Manila Delivery Centre, the Global Data Services IT team, as you serve every user market to ensure alignment on global solution strategy. You will ensure efficient integration with adjacent systems like SAP, MDG, Sales force and other technologies.

  • Deliver efficient and with high quality master data management services across the organization using different platforms. Promote and maximize the existing data integrity and data quality checks applied across platforms.
  • Support master data related projects: Performs data transformation & data loading, according to the cut over plans you will help building.
  • Deliver master data management activities with highest integrity, in compliance to set master data audit/ internal controls.  Perform periodic master data review as stated in master data audit/ internal controls.
  • Proactively initiate/participate data cleansing activity to ensure only valid and accurate master data exists in the systems.  Drive the initiative with relevant teams and business/ stakeholders, strictly following the business process for data cleanse.
  • Actively participate and provide quality master data insights to different projects and operational queries that requires master data expertise and support.   Responsible for solving master data related issues and escalations to ensure they are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Effectively manage and deliver the master data tasks, activities and developments as define within the Service Level Agreement for Operations and Projects’ timeline or as agreed with the business/ Project Team.
  • Actively participate and support User Acceptance Testing [UAT], to ensure master data requirements are considered and applied to any projects and developments.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for additional automation and/or process streamlining/ improvements.   Proactively drive application support cost reduction through innovation and improved ways of working.
  • Lead or participate, as required, in developing and delivering training materials on platform details, processes and systems to different teams.  Lead, and collaborative in master data operational meetings, and other meetings that require master data participation.
  • Play a key role in providing requirements, data elements, and recommendations for technical system builds and enhancements and maintaining and active engagement with IT community.
  • Effectively work and collaborate with Business Process Leads, Project Leads, Master Data Coordinators, Solutions Managers, colleagues, external partners and stakeholders to ensure delivery of master data tasks.

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Bachelor's Degree (IT or technical related degree preferred) 
  • With 3 to 5 years of working experience in regional/global master data operations & project management role.  Demonstrated experience with master data management and project management 
  • Master Data certification and/or significant relevant work experience driving development and improvement in a complex business environment, preferred.
  • Lean / Agile process expertise and experience, preferred.
  • Knowledge of master data operations processes including material, vendor/ supplier, customer, master data management.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Advanced Excel 
  • Knowledge of SAP, MDG tool, or other master data tools (i.e. LSMW) 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented approach to challenges 
  • Experience/exposure to different master data dynamics/specificities/cultures
  • Knowledge of ITIL methodology/ Project Management methodologies
  • Deep problem solving, root cause analysis capabilities
  • Proficiency in English language skills.   Can articulate effectively and convey the message clearly/timely through written and verbal communications.
