The Belonging in Bourbon Apprenticeship Program is a developmental rotation program focused on building a proven and seasoned leader who has the fundamentals to become an integral part of the Angel’s Envy family and the future of bourbon.

About You 
  • You are Fearless, ready to grow rapidly within the organization to be a future Operations leader in LDC and Bacardi. 
  • You are willing to take steps to achieve the required education and experience to begin the formal rotations within the Apprenticeship framework.
  • You have a Founder’s mentality, allowing you to take ownership of your responsibilities and an ability to quickly learn different functions of the business as we grow together.
  • You are able to work in multi-functional teams as a Family to achieve goals and grow our business

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Apprenticeship’s advanced level considers that candidate is “ready to proceed” to full-time rotation program, based on science-related education background.
  • Candidates with no engineering background (e.g. Chemical Engineering) might require some selected courses and online education to supplement knowledge. 
  • 70% (On the Job): includes 2-year full-time program across LDC with various rotations (Quality, Fermentation, Distillation, Aging, Processing and Bottling).
  • Assessment will be conducted based on a trainee exam covering each aspect of the rotation.
  • 20% (Learning from others): a Leader Mentor will be assigned with goal monthly meetings during the rotation phase.  Also, peer mentorship within each functional for daily support is considered.
  • 10% (Formal Training): to happen through participating in structures settings, like classroom training, e-learning, reading, seminars, etc. (e.g. Bacardi’s Leaders Toolkit, Lean Training curriculum, General Certificate and/or Degree on Distilling, etc.)
  • Assuming successful completion, future path will be discussed, including open roles and opportunities

External Qualifications
  • Science-related bachelor’s degree (BS in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Food Science strongly preferred). 
  • Proficient personal computer and software skills (SAP, Microsoft Office, etc.)
