About the role


This role combines exceptionally high standards of execution with P&L responsibility in some of the most strategically important airport locations in Europe. You will manage and develop our Retail Ambassadors who sell directly to consumers, and you will oversee brand building activations that incorporate an omnichannel approach.

Responsible for a diverse customer base that operates across all sub-channels in Global Travel Retail
Commercial skills are critically important for this role. 

Experience in managing all parts of a P&L to achieve revenue, profit and profitability targets is necessary. Numerical and analytical skills are also highly valued.

Negotiation skills and an ability to create annual trading agreements are fundamental to this role. Experience negotiating price and investment to drive growth is required, preferably in the off-trade channel.

Communication skills are of paramount importance. You will have experience managing customers and working across a matrix structure internally. Written and verbal communications skills in English must be of a high standard.

Leadership skills are important because you are responsible for the Retail Ambassadors in the airport locations. You need to demonstrate that you can inspire and manage a team to deliver exceptional results.
You have the skills of a team player and a team builder to drive collective performance

Particular focus on:
  • Beat revenue (NSV and profit targets (GP) each quarter.
  • Managing the A&P budget each month.
  • Managing cash collection and beating target (overdue as a percentage of total accounts receivable).
  • Growing Market Share in strategically important airport locations
  • Managing a team of Retail Ambassadors

  • Track record of relationship management with customers
  • Negotiation skills and being able to influence on a local level customer side
