About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and build a strong partnership with Travel Retail accounts across UK & Ireland (Airports, Cruises and Ferries)
- Achieve Regional and customer sales and volume targets each quarter
- Plan and forecast retail sales and volume, including the annual price off plan, with the support of the customer planner, the finance and RGM team
- Support Customer Marketing by managing and controlling A&P each month
- Manage annual cost price increase and trade term agreements with Regional Finance and RGM teams
- Plan, coordinate, implement and review brand activations across the customer base
- Growing Market Share in strategically important airport locations
- Manage a team of 20 Retail Ambassadors and own the relationship with the employment agency
Skills and Experience
- Commercial skills are critically important for this role: you must be an excellent negotiator & relationship builder
- Customer focused, strong planning & organization skills
- Demonstrates financial acumen in managing all parts of a P&L to achieve revenue, profit and profitability targets is necessary. Numerical and analytical skills are also highly valued
- Experience negotiating price and investment to drive growth is required
- Communication skills are of paramount importance. Written and verbal communications skills in English must be of a high standard
- Leadership skills are important because you are responsible for the Retail Ambassadors in the airport locations. You need to demonstrate that you can inspire and manage a team to deliver exceptional results
- Excellent IT literacy across MS Office with above average experience with Excel and Powerpoint
- Able to work under pressure and multi-task in cross functional teams to maximise effectiveness of operations
