About the role

WHAT DOES A KEY ACCOUNTS ROLE DO?
On-Trade Sales at Bacardi helps in building the brand imagery and creating visibility and volume through On-trade outlets. They play a critical role in taking our BIO and BII portfolio brands to the next level. They do this by crafting lot of Activations, Brand Advocacy sessions for the consumers and retailers.

ABOUT YOU
In this role you will be accountable for creating value through driving revenue and developing strategic relationships with key customer accounts in South India. You will create the legacy of Bacardi and drive key decisions that will significantly affect Bacardi’s presence in the region. Your deep commercial knowledge and ability to develop strategic relationships will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:

Deliver results and excellence in execution#
  • Achieving Volume Budget of his region and have complete Budget control
  • Achieving the Implementing Marketing Activities like Promotions & Visibility
  • Activation to be done in line with the marketing team and to meet the ROI of all activities
  • Availability of Bacardi Brands in all Relevant Universe.
  • Ensure AVPQPAP drivers are in place all the time
  • Alignment with the other members of the regional team
  • Deliver on key financial targets (NSV, Gross Margin, Overheads, Profitability, ROI, Value Share)
  • Deliver on Pictures of Success targets, complete survey and work in partnership with customers / distributor to deliver excellence in execution
  • Manage territory / channel / account performance on a monthly/quarterly basis, working with customers / distributor to ensure delivery of forecast and budget (volume / value / execution) in line with Bacardi Scorecard
  • Act as the leading customer contact, building effective long-term relationships with customers / distributor
  • Communicate effectively with customers to seek inputs for product and service improvement and resolve day-to-day operational questions/issues
  • Manage discount plans and budgets

Skills and Experience

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY:
  • Good written & verbal communication, presentation skills
  • Effective use of networking and strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrable track record of performance and delivery
  • Fluency in country’s most spoken languages
  • The following experiences are preferred:
  • Experience in account management in the On-trade channel
  • Experience in the Spirits and/or Beverage Industry is a distinct advantage
  • Proficiency in English & local language skills

  • You need to have a strong negotiation skill; you should be a team player and loving our brands
  • You shouldn’t be afraid of trying out new things while still working with a result-oriented mindset
  • It’s always easy for you to convince or motivate people from your point of view
  • You have no problem traveling
