About the role

YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Within this role as an Associate Manager, Technology Finance, you will assist to define, create, and provision Finance applications end to end solution design to drive business value and support operations across the Finance function.

As a part of the Technology Finance family, you will bring your wealth of experience in Financial Accounting and Controlling (SAP FI-CO) solutions and be able to navigate a multicultural environment with team members in various locations.  

Communication and interpersonal skills are key within the Technology group and is deemed as fundamental when building a partnership with the Finance function across the globe.

As an Associate Manager, Technology Services, Finance, you are expected to deliver and run cross-functional and multifaceted projects in the Tech portfolio focusing on Finance solutions to support business needs.  Bacardi is running SAP as our ERP global solution integrated with other tools across different business and operational processes which includes but are not limited to Sales, Distribution, Manufacturing, Procurement among others.   

In this role, you will manage the Cost and Value of your Service, service health (User satisfaction) and initiative portfolio to deliver the KPIs and the Tech vision. You work with the Manager/Senior Manager to design, build, maintain and enhance the service, as well as for service delivery and support.

You will work with business unit or functional leadership to understand the business outcomes of the service, but also with architects, and external service providers to understand the underlying technologies. 

You will manage the tracking of the service KPIs (service usage, adoption, cost, value) to drive ongoing improvements in the service delivery performance, maximize the value of the service, but also to guide key decisions on service governance.

You may be expected to travel to visit local teams or business partners. In this position, you will report to a Senior Manager, IT Services or Programs.

Responsibilities


WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE

Initiatives planning and portfolio management for your service
  • Participate in the development of the strategy for your service, hand in hand with business partners and in alignment with global Tech strategy
  • Develop annual Tech service delivery plan and align expectations with business partners, together with client managers, whenever needed. Shape projects/programs critical to deliver the vision
  • Understand the impact of new technologies for your services and align the technology plan and architecture roadmap of the service accordingly
  • Effectively strengthen vendor relationships to align vendor products and services with enterprise strategy and Tech service objectives
Impeccable on-going management of your service
  • Review business requests for service enhancements, as well as Tech service changes requests for cost, standards enforcement - then prioritize the work, in line with the service strategy
  • Guides continuous improvement efforts for the service, develop business cases, understand your users
  • Manage your Service/Solutions resources across the Tech programs and projects
  • Ensures the support of existing applications, solutions, systems through the adequate support Center
  • Review IT security, compliance and Tech audits for your service
  • Effectively use problem solving methodologies whenever needed
  • Formulate, negotiate and maintain SLA (Service Level Agreement) for your service
  • Measure and communicate key performance metrics for your service(s)- analyse data to discover opportunities for service improvement
  • Communicate at relevant frequency key metrics on your service
Ensure projects are organized and executed in a consistent manner and/or fulfilled within established PMO standards.  Specifically, 
  • Follow our Tech Project Management Office process guidelines for the project(s) (including program planning, steering committee status updates, presentations) 
  • Lead program discovery phase – program definition, goals, business benefits and objectives, governance structure and sponsorship
  • Responsible for the overall project delivery and results according to success criteria (scope, quality, time, budget). Deliver the program within budget
  • Align work plans and expectations of all program resources, accountable for the end result with top quality delivery
  • Implement and manage process blueprints, policies, workflows, and data flows
  • Manages (executes) the transition of the post go-live support activities to the Support Organization
  • Responsible to provide regular project updates to both project team and governing committees as required
  • Analyse requirements. Integrate and align with other processes and solutions
  • Incorporate industry best practices, conducts internal and external benchmarking, and establishes standards, key measures, and metrics
  • Ensure adoption of the solution(s) 
  • Orchestrate the functioning of the matrix, pulling the appropriate resources as needed
  • Deep dive where risks and issues occur - break barriers or adjust plans
  • Provide input for the Tech portfolio and innovation construction process
Budget management
  • Responsibility for Cost and value of your Service (Projects) 
  • Provide your input into the Tech budget construction, especially on projects in your area, as well as on the running cost for your Service support operations
Business and Tech organization engagement on your service
  • Manage communication and alignment with stakeholders (build strong relationship outside Tech)
  • Create excellent relationships within the other Tech functions
  • Act as a consultant to other Tech services as needed
  • Towards business management, be the escalation point for performance issues/outages
  • Develop your network, internally and externally and leverage it
  • Create lasting beneficial relationships with strategic external partners

Skills and Experience

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY

To be successful in this role you will have/be: 
  • Business Knowledge: Understand the business and SAP FI-CO related processes
  • Ability to develop business cases
  • Experience in Tech service delivery, with direct business engagement
  • Good project management (methodologies, standards, frameworks, tools), and communication skills. Proven track record of successfully driving major change management projects in the business and Tech environment.
  • Problem solving, root cause analysis capabilities
  • Experience/exposure to different markets dynamics/specificities/cultures
  • Ability to work remotely, monitor process, progress and results
  • Experience in a matrix organization, managing multiple stakeholders in a complex environment 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while contributing to multiple projects and strict deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities, organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Experience/exposure to different markets dynamics/specificities/cultures
  • Experience in management of others, coaching and mentoring (even if you don’t have direct reports)
  • Proficiency in English language skills
 The following experiences are preferred:
  • Fluent in another language than English
  • Experience in project leadership roles in an international environment 
  • Experience in multiple Tech Services
