About the role

Your Opportunity
  • With the role of Technology, Azure Synapse Data Modeler you are responsible to contribute towards the development, operations and support of the Bacardi Data Distillery data warehouse solution on Azure Cloud.
  • In this role you are part of a global team, and can expect a work schedule during during Europe business hours to be able to provide coverage globally.


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be:

Impeccable Solution Delivery and Continuous Improvement Regionally or Globally:
  • Work in a DevOps operating model in owning as well as supporting the Bacardi Data Distillery.
  • Collaborate with team members, vendors, and solution architects to deliver high quality work output.
  • Develop end-to-end ETL/ELT processes using mainly Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
  • Design and build business datamarts for reporting.
  • Create and maintain data catalog and solution documentation.
  • Execute solution operations and support activities.
Be an inspiring Technology Primo:
  • Coach, mentor, provide constructive feedback and develop the Technology organization around you

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 2 to 5 years working experience in regional/global Application Operations & Support delivery execution role
  • Experience in implementing and supporting full cycle Data Warehousing solution on Azure.
  • Experience in DevOps and CI/CD.
  • Experience in supporting multiple applications, softwares and Technology solutions.
  • Deep problem solving, root cause analysis capabilities.
  • Experience with Azure Analytics solutions like Storage Accounts, SQL DB, SSIS, Analysis Services, Synapse, Data Factories, Databricks, Purview etc.
  • Knowledge in Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Knowledge of systems development lifecycle management, coding standards, system resource management / optimization, software engineering best practices, testing & operations.
  • Passionate about learning & improving new technologies, keep track of new functionalities.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
The following experiences are recommended:
  • Knowledge of ITIL methodology.
  • Power BI experience is plus.
  • Python experience is plus.
  • Applicable Learning and Certifications towards Data Warehouse development and administration.
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new technology
