About the role

This exciting new role in the Brand Homes team is all about improving service and growth. You will oversee the daily operations of our Bar and Gin Cocktail Masterclass offering on site. This includes delivery of our daily bar service to tour guests, as well as bespoke events.

You will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager & management team. You will be directly responsible for engaging the team and customers to ensure the highest level of service is delivered, improving and assisting with the development of all areas of the bar and masterclass.

You will be required to work flexible hours throughout the year, including weekends and peak periods.

We’re looking for a self starter, who can work flexibly and adapt to the ever changing flow of guests and our evolving business strategy.


  • Engaging with customers and maintaining exemplary customer service standards, supervising a team and promoting a culture of exceeding expectations.
  • Implement stock control systems and procedures, support auditing and looking for continuous ways to improve.
  • Achieve KPI targets relating to visitor experience, operational efficiency and income. 
  • Demonstrate and improve effective sales skills and exceptional product knowledge across the team.
  • Assist with new product development and existing improvement of the bar offering, working alongside the Advocacy and Brand Ambassador Team
  • Deliver, and train and sign of staff to deliver, our exceptional Gin Cocktail Masterclasses
  • Observe and analyse sales behaviour onsite, analysing data and providing feedback on ways in which the customer experience could be improved.
  • Lead with the training and development of new starters and existing Primos.
  • Assisting the F&B Manager to ensure there is adequate staffing levels though completion of rota and holiday request/cover, in line with budget.
  • Ensuring that work is carried out following the highest of standards relating to cleanliness, Social Responsibility and Licensing Laws, helping to liaise with the relevant authorities to ensure compliance.
  • Duty Management of Visitor Centre on a rotational basis, including cash handling, safety, and customer care.
  • When on shift as the Duty Manager, overseeing and supporting other departments, including Tour and Café
  • Lead the Bar in the absence of the F&B Manager
  • Lead by example with the professional culture and delivery of bar service
  • Comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures, ensuring standards are maintained throughout the team, appropriately reporting any accidents or near misses immediately
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested by the Senior Management Team

Skills and Experience

  • Experience working and consistently delivering in other demanding hospitality roles;
  • A track record in maintaining exemplary standards of service, especially during peak seasons and under pressure;
  • Comfortable training new staff, setting the right example and promoting a culture of soft up/cross selling to achieve bar targets and maximise revenue;
  • Confident supporting other departments as a Duty Manager
  • Fast learner, absorbing brand and product knowledge to share with our guests
  • Fluent in English;
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills;
  • A team player who can communicate effectively with the rest of the team and across departments
  • Detail driven and pro-active, to confidently take the lead, and encourage an active, not reactive level of service standard;
  • Commercial mindset, looking to constantly review and improve our service and offering
  • This is a role with various development opportunities across the portfolio, for anyone who aspires to grow within tourist, hospitality or spirits industries;
  • We are looking for passionate individuals who will embrace acting as a brand ambassador for Bombay Sapphire and Bacardi;  
  • Weekend availability is essential, including the flexibility to work on late night events as a Duty Manager
