About the role

What does a Gin Expert do?

Gin Experts are at the frontline of our Brand Home. They create quality cocktails for our guests to enjoy whilst delivering the exceptional customer service expected of a premium brand. You will host Gin Cocktail Masterclasses and other experiences. Gin Experts also work in the Gin Shop, and there are opportunities to cross train into other areas, including hosting the tours. 

Cleaning, replenishing stock and serving guests at the till are all part of the role. You will work with our tour guests during the day, as well as our evening event guests. You will be required to work weekends.

About You 

You will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. You will be a team player who can adapt your way of working depending on the visitor flow each day. You should be passionate about our products and serving quality cocktails.


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Making and serving cocktails for tour and event guests.
  • Hosting Gin Cocktail Masterclasses as well as other experiences.
  • Serving guests in the Gin Shop
  • Setting up and breaking down for events.
  • Replenishing Stock.
  • Using the till and cash handling.
  • Assist with the training of new starters, including acting as a ‘buddy’
  • Ensuring that work is carried out following the highest of standards relating to cleanliness, Health & Safety, Social Responsibility and Licensing 
  • Delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested by a DM/manager.

  • Experience of working in a busy and physically demanding role.
  • Able to deliver exceptional customer service at all times, even under pressure.
  • Experience of cash handling and using a till.
  • Ability to develop product knowledge and share this with our guests.

  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Team Player
  • Attention to detail and desire to deliver high standards
  • Pro-active and self-motivated.
