About the role

Your Opportunity

The Marketing Assistant role is responsible for supporting the brand team in several areas of ongoing business management and communications. The Marketing Assistant will assist the Brand team in the day to day administration while serving as main point of contact for all internal team communication and management. He or she will ensure the team is kept abreast of all relevant industry, business and brand news while keeping brand and greater teams fully engaged.  


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be:

POS and Marketing Materials
  • Leads timeline, tracking, and orders of Marketing Materials 
  • Manages approval process of new Marketing Materials, ensuring on-time delivery within budget
  • Vendor Negotiation, pricing comparison and quality assurance
  • Marketing Materials logistics and follow up 
  • Accountable for On Time payments to clients and distributors. 
  • Assists brand budget owner (Marketing Manager) to provide visibility of brand budget management and procedural elements, including but not limited to: analysis, reporting, tracking and forecasting
  • Accountable for the brand budget  implementation on a for monthly/quarterly/annual basis
  • Manage the Purchase Order (PO) creation and approval process for team members and brand to remain current with all invoicing for vendors
  • Follow up bit different stakeholders such as external vendors, managers and back office
Team Engagement
  • Lead planning of all internal team activities such as monthly on-premise blitzes, sampling activations, brand summits and intra-agency team meetings
  • Responsible for keeping the team current on any local trade advocacy events

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • 2 years’ Marketing experience, preferably within Brand management experience
  • Experience in multiple specialty areas: promotions, events, media, etc. 
  • Verbal/written skills at all levels in an organization; ability to generate meaningful presentations
  • Data analysis and summarize information 
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Fluent command in English and Spanish
  • Project Management skills
The following experiences are preferred:
  • Drinks and Luxury Category experience is an advantage 
  • Purchasing and/or vendor pricing negotiations
  • Experience in additional functions beyond the ones listed above 
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deal with ambiguity
  • Experience working within matrix environment
  • Comprehension of competitive market for brand and Category in the Hub and how to use available data to develop initiatives to grow the brand
