Responsibilities
- To champion, promote and deliver best in class PR, Publicity and Influencer strategy, plans and execution that embed our brands into the cultural conversation and into the hearts and minds of the bartending/advocacy community.
- Work within a small but dynamic team of Brand PR professionals, who report to the VP of Global Brand Communications across a portfolio of world-class brands, leading and activating award-winning, brand campaigns and supporting our epic, cultural platforms across the globe.
- Lead multiple PR agency relationships and have the gravitas to operate at senior levels in a matrix global organization.
- Partner with Global Brand Teams to develop and lead the annual PR strategy and activity calendar, as well as goal setting and measurement. A general understanding of ATL and BTL activities and how they should work together will make you a strong partner
- Work closely with inter-agency teams to activate innovative PR, Social and Influencer campaigns and events, including management of virtual or IRL events, publicity and content capture for earned and owned channels.
- In addition to “flagship” PR moments, work with agencies to ensure a steady stream of media coverage year round through hardworking and creative press office plans; reinvigorate press and buzz around noteworthy brand homes, archives and unique brand histories, stealing share of voice from competitors.
- Create captivating brand narratives and soundbites to ensure stories are compelling for the target audience.
- Collaborate with our Brand, Digital and e-commerce teams to develop unique programming to further enhance the global reputation of our brands. In addition, you will take full advantage of the rich heritage of the brands including promoting Brand Homes, Social Responsibility, historic archives and our stable of executives and Global Brand Ambassadors.
Skills and Experience
- Proven ability to think strategically and expertise in delivering culture-defining PR, Influencer and Comms work for iconic global brands with cultural platforms, executing brilliantly to build brand awareness and allure.
- This role is for a leader who is a doer, not a delegator. You see the big picture but are not afraid to get hands dirty and approach projects in a collaborative manner working in cross-functional teams within a matrix Global business. Someone who gets things done, plans and executes with excellence, can lead and manage multiple projects at one time and who has a good sense of humor.
- An experienced strong communicator with the ability to influence multiple-stakeholders; you’ll have a track-record in partnering with Executives, Brand Spokespeople, Ambassadors and Influencers to deliver outstanding Comms campaigns, this will stand you in good stead to ensure alignment, understanding and buy-in.
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and activating social influencers and media-worthy Talent to drive noise and editorial.
- This person knows how to advise and execute across traditional media publicity, events, digital and video communications; social and influencer activations and partnerships to ensure our brands use the most modern PR methods.
- Keen understanding of the North American / US media landscape is as must. European/Global perspective is a plus

- A confident self-starter with solid PR and/or journalism and publicity experience (+10 years). Candidate must be able to work autonomously, leading projects and reporting back into various teams across Brand and Comms on progress, issues, and successes.
- Personal traits including gravitas, strongly articulate, tenacity, creativity, curiosity, and the ability to connect the dots and get things done.
