About the role

In this Customer Planning and Activation (CPA) role you will be accountable for tailoring the brand activity/trade marketing programs for your brand portfolio. Your ability to manage multiple projects at any given time will be key, as will be your comfort in working seamlessly within the matrix, in particular with the Cluster & Local Customer Marketing team, Local Consumer Marketing and Country Commercial teams.

  • You will build and develop best in class CPA capabilities at a Country level that will enable us to win in the marketplace
  • You will provide strong commercial insight into the integrated activity planning (IAP) process to ensure the effective commecialization and execution of our strategic plans. You will also ensure that the cluster team understand local needs for activity materials – both level of detail and timing required to ensure full customer support
  • You will influence the development of Channel Strategies that through the IAP process are converted into winning value propositions that drive value growth, sustainable NSV/Case growth & rate of sale
  • You will lead the development and implementation of a variety of customer-focused materials and programs to ensure we win at Point of Purchase (POP)
In this role, you will primarily be based in the Saint-Ouen office where you will be working with multi-functional team colleagues. However, you will be part of the broader CPA Community across the cluster and as such there will be some travel to other markets for the purposes of inspiration, input and alignment.

Responsibilities

Drive results & excellence in execution
  • Support delivery of Country, year on year growth NSV and NSV/case by inputting to the Cluster Integrated ActivityPlan (IAP) development
  • Responsible for the overall execution of the local IAP
  • Apply channel strategies to your country that optimize channel mix and through the IAP process are converted into winning value propositions that unlock customer support
  • Ensure that the IAP process reflects your country requirements to win in the market place.
  • Customize Cluster IAP as necessary for country Sales Teams, work with IPD team to support creation of customer specific plans.
  • Build the capability to effectively commercialize and win customer support for our innovation initiatives
Develop talent and capability
  • Together with Commercial Development, own and embed the CPA capabilities to build the organization’s capacity to deliver year on year value growth
  • Build a learning organization by creating a “share, steal and reapply” culture that systematically builds a database of CPA best practices
  • Provide Category teams with the CPA expertise and advice to enable an effective commercialization of category strategies and initiatives
  • Work with the Commercial and Customer/Consumer Marketing teams to build capabilities and sustained ways of working

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will have/be:
  • Experience in Customer and Consumer Marketing (e.g. Brand Marketing or Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing,Category Management Sales and Channel Strategy)
  • Experience in roles related to understanding consumer, customer and channel dynamics
  • Commercial skills
  • Proficiency in French and English
The following experiences are preferred:
  • Customer/Consumer Marketing experience
  • Experience within one or more companies that have an established reputation for category management excellence
  • Experience in the Spirits and/or overall beverage Industry is a distinct advantage
  • Sales experience is an advantage

FUNCTIONAL EXCELLENCE
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deal with ambiguity
  • Comprehension of competitive market for brand and Category in the Hub and how to use available data to develop initiatives to grow the brand
  • Remains abreast of legal regulations in the industry for the Country
