Support the business on our quest to produce key actionable insights that power Bacardi’s growth. 
Earn a place as a trusted advisor to Grocery retailers by partnering with them to understand their business objectives and help define where and how Bacardi can play a role in achieving them. 
Support on key research projects to understand our categories, our shoppers, and consumers more effectively.

You’ll be an experienced Category Manager, with the ability to get stuck into the detail of the data while also stepping back to see the big picture and unlock future growth.

Able to multi skill effectively and be at ease leading projects in this highly cross-functional role

Responsibilities

WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
  • Be an expert and the voice on Market, Category and Shopper trends across Spirits, Vermouth and RTD
  • Proactively use data from multiple sources (ie Nielsen, Kantar, Retailer Platforms) to assess the category situation, building recommendations and identifying opportunities to drive long term business growth 
  • Independently develop & maintain strong category relationships with specific Grocery customers, providing recommendations for range reviews, space and merchandising, delivered through unbiased recommendations
  • Support with category and channel initiatives that generate joint business growth, working closely with cross functional partners
  • Track Distribution vs Targets and support Sales with opportunities to drive distribution gains and minimise losses
  • Manage data providers and get optimal return on investment 
  • Support & upskill Marketing & Sales teams, providing regular reports to enable them to confidently take a consultative category selling approach to their customers

Skills and Experience

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within Category, ideally having worked with Grocery customers
  • Highly competent in Excel and PowerPoint.  Experience working with Nielsen, Kantar and Dunnhumby data is desirable
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, internally and externally
  • Strong analytical skills, and very comfortable interpreting data 
  • Highly inquisitive, always asking the “So What”
  • Experienced in managing and influencing key stakeholders 
  • A flair for presenting and “telling the story”
  • Highly motivated to succeed and can take ownership of the role
