YOUR OPPORTUNITY

You will be the go-to category expert for On Trade Wholesale & Field Sales, producing key actionable insights that power Bacardi’s growth 

Earn a place as a trusted advisor with key On Trade wholesale customers by partnering with them to understand their business objectives and help define where and how Bacardi can play a role in achieving them 

Support with key On Trade research projects to understand our categories and consumers more effectively

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
  • Be an expert and the voice on Market, Category and Consumer trends across the Alcohol industry, providing regular reports to the Wholesale & Field Sales Teams
  • Proactively use data from multiple sources to (CGA, Kantar and Ad Hoc research studies) to assess the category situation, building strategic recommendations and identifying opportunities to drive long term business growth
  • Develop category principles for Range, Merchandising and Menu recommendations across Spirit categories that can be used to educate and generate growth both internally and externally
  • Support the Senior On Trade Category Manager with category and channel initiatives that generate joint business growth, working closely with cross functional partners
  • Support & upskill Wholesale and Field teams for them to confidently take a consultative category selling approach to their customers, whilst developing and providing the necessary tools to do this
  • Independently develop & maintain strong category relationships with Wholesale customers, delivered through unbiased recommendations
  • Connect internal teams across Commercial, Customer and Consumer Marketing to drive tangible actions from insights

Skills and Experience

SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience, with a deep understanding of the On Trade environment
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong analytical skills, and very comfortable interpreting data 
  • Highly inquisitive, always asking the “so what”
  • A flair for presenting and “telling the story”
  • Highly motivated to succeed and can take ownership of the role
