About the role

Your Opportunity

As the City Trade Ambassador, you will be the nationally recognized expert on all spirit categories and Bacardi portfolio brands. 
This role is varied and will require strong interaction and alignment with the country sales teams and key channel  influencers. As a result, you can expect to be travelling extensively to stay connected to all important stakeholders. You will be in lead of exciting
bartender engagement programs and will be part of executing local portfolio brand activations.

About You 
  • You will be the On Trade channel expert and will represent the Bacardi portfolio to customers and influencers in the channel.
  • You will develop relationships with key influencers and local trade and influence the positioning of Bacardi in the country.
  • You will provide industry leading training to customers and bartenders.
  • You will support the Local Sales and Distributor teams on implementation of Pictures of Success in the On Trade channel.


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Drive results and excellence in execution
  • Together with Cluster Head of Advocacy define the ‘Where to play’ (channels, accounts, and trade events) and through the IAP inform deployment of resources against the advocacy priorities while maximizing ROI
  • Build industry revered Advocacy capabilities that drive values share in the On-Trade
  • Train bar-staff in key accounts and sales teams on all brands, drink strategy, cocktail skills, menu writing and overall industry knowledge, driving Availability, Visibility and Quality for our Portfolio
  • Identify opportunities and support the Cluster Customer Marketing team to optimize Bacardi’s presence in the On Trade channel
  • Develop strong relationships with key trade leaders, owners, and influencers to increase opportunities for our sales teams

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Preferably a bachelor’s degree
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience in Spirits and/or Beverage industry (experience with a globally relevant brand is a plus)
  • Experience in bartending, mixology and food & drink industry
  • Great networking and social media skills
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Strong communication and influencing skills in preferably Norwegian and English language
  • No objections to working evenings and occasionally weekends
