About the role

This role is responsible for coordinating the end to end supply chain engagement with top customers, predominantly Tesco & Booker. The aim of the role is to help drive improvement in all key supply chain metrics as measured by the customer and Bacardi Martini such as forecast accuracy, OTIF, on shelf availability, on-time NPD launch and execution.

This role is an ‘implant’ role and requires the individual to be present at the Customers’ offices at least 1-2 days a week or as required.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

·         You will be responsible for improving engagement and collaboration with our top customers, in particular Tesco & Booker, with the aim of improving execution of activity & improving KPIs

·         Working closely with the account management team, the demand planning team and the customer service team you will ensure we have the best insight at the earliest possible opportunity in order to accurately forecast, supply and deliver the customer’s demand

·         Internal and external coordination to ensure excellent execution of NPD launches, shipper activity and other key promotions

·         Gather information from the customer around ways of working and communicate internally

·         Ensure the use of correct terminology to match the customer’s language

·         Align internal KPIs to reflect the customer’s key measures

·         Create a network of key contacts across key functions at the customer that can help with execution of BBFB activity

·         Create any such reports and dashboards as required to measure performance & communicate appropriately

·         Implement best practice processes to accelerate the improvement of key measures

·         Develop a calendar of Customer activity and track key actions to ensure 100% on time execution

Measures of success

·         Forecast accuracy >80% for the relevant customers

·         Meeting OTIF target per customer

·         On time execution of activity & initiatives >95%

·         On-shelf availability above target as measured by customer

·      Advantage Survey Results

Critical experiences for success

  • You will have 5+ years experience in a customer centric Supply Chain role
  • Being an assertive self starter and well versed at dealing with ambiguity is essential
  • A track record of outstanding relationship building & influencing skills
  • Demonstrated use of analytical,  collaborative problem solving and negotiation skill
  • You will be able to demonstrate a clear customer focus from past positions
  • Customer centric and commercially astute
  • Very good understanding of supply chain processes, issues and industry practice from customer management to outsourced supply
  • Good understanding of demand planning processes and their impact on customer supply
  • Good analytical and reasoning abilities
  • Excellent general IT literacy
  • Maintains and updates technical and functional knowledge
  • Proactive Communication: Structures and presents technical data in a clear and logical format.
