About the role

YOUR OPPORTUNITY
We are uniquely positioned to see the supply chain end to end – starting with our materials through to the touch point of our brands with shoppers in the market. Join us & become both the voice of the customer for supply & the integrator across Sales, Marketing & Finance. Your focus will be providing our Commercial & Planning teams with insight from our Customers via detailed understanding of their systems & processes at store & depot level. You will facilitate the execution of Promotions, developing the most accurate forecast with the Customer for upcoming activities. The role will involve collaborative joint project initiatives to improve On Shelf Availability/Service, Delivery Efficiency, & Cost.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
  • Working with Customers to develop the most accurate forecast for promotional activities, new listings, product changes & events to maintain excellent On Shelf Availability, Forecast Accuracy & Service Level. Drive sales by optimising flow of stock to shelf 
  • Provide insight to Planning Teams by using Customer Systems at both store & depot level. Report, analyse & deliver on KPIs by implementing continuous improvement activities related to availability, inventory, forecasting, execution of promotional events & value creation. 
  • Administer CPFR (collaborative planning, forecast & replenishment) cyclical process & support your Customer Account Manager in short term planning meetings with Customer Buyer(s) & Customer Supply Chain contacts. 
  • Support Planning through weekly review of volume variances. React to short term demand fluctuations & provide insight on stock, changes to distribution & buy-in phasing to help interpret stock flow patterns & take preventative measures on stock outs. Using this insight, place emphasis for mid/longer term corrective & systemic action plans to prevent recurrence (right-first time forecast) 
  • Joint Value Creation & Collaboration activities with the Customer to improve Service, Delivery Efficiency, Sustainability & Cost 
  • Key interactions will be with the Customer Supply Chain Teams & Bacardi’s Key Account Manager to ensure that the commercial & supply chain strategy & communication is fully aligned. 
  • Daily order entry and order processing to the 3PL provider, while working with them to ensure that orders are delivered on time and in full as per pour customer expectation.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to resolve order and invoicing queries and also lead the day to day communication to customers regarding the status of their order, stock availability and deliveries.

Skills and Experience

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
  • Track record of delivery in Customer Service including good experience with managing customer requirements. Will ideally have a supply chain background including forecasting responsibilities. Customer demand planning experience preferred but not essential. 
  • Intermediate level at Microsoft Excel (able to use VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables) 
  • Good interpersonal, communication & relationship management skills including ability to influence & communicate at all levels. 
  • Service mindset, taking ownership to resolve customer issues with a proactive approach to issues & opportunities as well as understand the financial impact of decisions. 
  • Ability to build relationships & be a strong team player both within Customer & Bacardi. 
  • High levels of numeracy & logical reasoning; ability to assimilate & act on complex data & information. 
  • SAP experience beneficial however training will be provided in role.
