About the role

As a Customer Marketing Coordinator, your role is to ensure excellence in execution to drive business growth, protecting the brand standards while having a strong trade presence that translates into transaction. You will be the go-to person for customer brand activations (development and execution) in coordination with the sales team.

You will play a fundamental role as the customer and shopper’s voice in the Integrated Activity Plan and JBP process and the advisor to ensure commercial reality is well considered in the brand/consumer plans.

  • To lead the integrated activity plan execution with excellence. Guide distributors on identifying the strategic brand priorities and translating those into brilliant execution, considering channel dynamics and needs to drive growth.
  • Contribute to the shaping of a new era of Customer Marketing in Dominican Republic, building and executing a fully integrated plans (omnichannel thinking) that maximise conversion at point of sale (On / Off / Digital).
  • Identify the right customers, insights & occasions for your target consumers and deliver solutions to meet needs and drive transaction, unlocking growth opportunities.
  • Measure and evaluate brand and channel execution performance (internal and customer sales data) as well as brand activity performance to continuously optimise trade spend. You’ll control local market transactional A&P.
  • Support the commercial team to build long-term relationships with key strategic customers and suppliers. Consult and take continuous input from key stakeholders (commercial, consumer marketing, distributors) on brand/category plans and activities.
  • Lead the development and implementation of executional toolkits, working with agencies and suppliers, including the coordination of brand POS material development, production, and delivery according to plan.
  • Maintain channel activity grids and local activity communications.
  • Work along side with the Commercial Team (On/Off Premise).

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in customer/trade marketing, brand management, experiential and BTL execution. Sales fundamentals understanding and tracking knowledge; managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an omnichannel environment (Off trade, Digital Commerce, On-trade), as well as understanding customer and channel dynamics to deliver business results.
  • Previous experience managing budgets (Planning, execution, measurement, evaluation, and optimization)
  • Strong understanding of consumer & trade customer insights and numerical, analytical and project management skills
  • Previous experience working interdependently with distributors is a plus.
  • Verbal/written skills at all levels; ability to generate meaningful presentations. English/Spanish fluency.
