About the role

YOUR OPPORTUNITY
  • Get ready to execute, learn and grow by being the “Manager” of Scotches and IMFL Browns in India!
  • You will be accountable for driving Value creation and brand equity in Channel, Financial performance of the brands, and their Market share.
  • You will develop, execute & evaluate the Annual Integrated Activity calendar.
  • As the marketing and customer champion, you will be a key member of the India Marketing Team. 
  • In addition, you will be a key representative of the brand to the commercial team and the consumer marketing team.

Responsibilities

WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
  • Deliver on key Country financial targets (NSV, GP and value share) versus budget for your respective Brands.
  • Apply the Category Growth framework that embeds an occasion-based approach which informs the “Where to Play”
  • strategy and the “How to Win” execution through the IAP process.
  • Implement Channel Strategies that through the Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) process are converted into winning
  • value propositions.
  • Ensuring your market has the assets and tools to win in the marketplace.
  • For the ‘New to World’ IMFL Whisky and Brandy Products, use effective research as well as direct consumer behavioural
  • data and analytics to identify insights that will unlock the profitable opportunities for your brand.
  • Focus on M&E of the key projects, learn and modify from the learnings
  • Consumer, Shopper and customer understanding. Partner with the consumer marketing and commercial team to build a
  • deep understanding of the target consumer and shopper for IMFL Whisky and Brandy
  • Working closely with stakeholders
  • Work with the Commercial team to plan, build and execute effectively with the regional Trade marketing team
  • Create a “share, steal and reapply” culture that systematically identifies and rolls-out best practices for your brands and
  • creates synergies between central team and Regional Teams
  • Work with Advocacy team to create programs as per Consumer Insights and Customer Needs
  • Work Closely with the consumer marketing team on Situational Assessment and shaping the IAP for India Business
  • Work closely with the Consumer Marketing team to build Through the line programs for the Marquee events 

Skills and Experience

SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
  • Experience in Customer Marketing (e.g. Purchaser/Shopper Marketing, Category Management Sales and Channel Strategy)
  • Commercial skills gained through hands on Commercial roles
  • Experience in roles related to understanding customer and channel dynamics
  • Experience within one or more companies that have an established reputation for category management excellence
  • Experience in the Spirits and/or overall beverage Industry is a distinct advantage
  • Local Country language(s) knowledge
