About the role

Your Opportunity

The BI, Data & Analytics team counts on well-defined frameworks and principles, starting with functional use cases, data, technical architecture, and delivery processes. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end data architecture and data integration/modelling for various BI and Data Analytics solutions. You will work closely with various functional, technology teams to drive the data architecture to deliver IT capabilities aligned with business requirements. You will ensure quality of solution aligns with the architecture standards and assist project teams to stay within scope and budget.

About You

We need an experienced Data Architect / Modeler who acts as an enabler for Business Intelligence, Data & Analytics initiatives in Bacardi. You will have hands on experience in designing and executing large and complex projects in one or more of the following domains - Data Warehousing, ETL and Data Integration/Migration, Business Intelligence, Data Strategy, Data Architecture & Governance and Metadata Management. To be successful in this role, you must possess in-depth understanding of data architecture, data modeling, data integration principles and technical leadership during the course of the BI, data analytics implementation projects.


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Drive data architecture to deliver data & analytics capabilities aligned with business requirements
  • Lead both technical and non-technical discussions regarding enterprise data and information architecture
  • Build and optimize big data- data pipelines, architectures, and data sets
  • Write, review, and approve data architecture components to ensure alignment with architectural standards
  • Recommend and follow standards for all technical areas related to data and information architecture
  • Liaise with all relevant stakeholders to ensure and align final solution design before deployment
  • Provide architectural and technical inputs for definition, estimation and delivery of projects
  • Develop and maintain architecture blueprint, data models, design specifications, data interfaces and integration approaches and infrastructure requirements
  • Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
  • Design, develop, load, maintain and test large-scale distributed systems / landscape
  • Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed solution design and architecture 

Skills and Experience

  • Passion, drive and confidence to work within technical and business teams in a collaborative, creative way
  • Experience in designing and architecting large scale distributed applications
  • Database design, modelling for data warehouse, optimizing, performance tuning and scripting (PL/SQL, stored procedure)
  • Hands-on experience with development using ETL Tools – Microsoft SSIS, Azure ADF would be preferred
  • Relevant and demonstrable experience in a similar role, with minimum 8-10 years of experience
  • Must have excellent data modeling skills (relational and dimensional) for cloud or big data applications
  • Experience in data migration from on-premises to cloud is desirable, although not mandatory
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure platform or SAP BI platform or Hadoop stack – Azure would be preferred
  • Good understanding of architecting data ingestion / integration frameworks capable of processing structured, semi structured & un-structured data sets in batch & real time
  • International background, used to work in distributed environments, with insourced and outsourced models.
  • Degree in Math, Computer Science or similar field
  • Domain Experience - CPG/ Alco-Bev a big plus
