About the role
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the month end closing data gathering/building (Sell in, Sell out, Customer Inventory, DIOH, DOH) for Mexican market.
- Ensure Analysis, identification & follow up to the Inventory and Actual Variances (Customer), according to defined policy, throughout the different IBP meetings.
- Responsible for Mexican Overview analysis: once data is received and updated within the models, a brief is made to review the main changes vs last cycle.
- Lead Demand monthly analysis and pre meetings and support sign off meeting with Business.
- Supporting long term demand planning process.
- Provide insights of any depletions trend variance, comparison with historical behaviour, to agree a new forecast with the commercial team.
- Assemble and analyse all data pertinent to supporting the IBP process, through models maintenance (historical sales, trends, open orders, seasonality, promotions, and Distributor inventory).
- Deliver continuously improve forecasting techniques, method, and approach to make a step change on forecast accuracy – focused on the main SKU in the business.
- Maintain and improve Portfolio Management process, including rationalization activities.
- Support Activity Management on the innovation process to consider them into the IBP, deliver new launches and challenge when appropriate.
- Provide visibility of KPIs: BIAS, Accuracy, Orders delayed and be a support in action plans to improve them.
- Support the cross functional team of Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance to achieve consensus each month within the S&OP cycle.
- Ensure the Forecast Submission in SAP-APO for Mexico by SKU/ Plant.
Skills and Experience
- Business savvy and a good understanding of the consumer & customer needs.
- Ability to find effective ways of working within a matrix organization, and within a fast-changing environment.
- Strong analytical skills, and close attention to detail.
- Proven Master data management for large combinations of countries/brands/SKU
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid understanding of forecasting practices and procedures.
- Language Requirements: English is essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Administration, Business, Logistics or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Demand planning, forecasting role.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP (Excel advance is required).
- Power BI or similar knowledge is desired.
- Experience in FMCG (Wanted, but not mandatory)
