About the role
Responsibilities
- Be in partnership with Local teams and Region & Global teams
- Ensure that Bacardi Australia & New Zealand can unlock the competitive advantage that Digital acceleration brings in an omnichannel world, through driving the agenda of the local Digital Front Line Council (DFLC), in partnership with Region & Global teams
- Build the connective tissue to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in how we disrupt consumer journeys and win with customers through our five Jobs-To-Be-Done (JTBDs) for Digital Acceleration:
- Run annual training plan including platforms like eConsultancy & Bacardi Way of Growth
- Build out series of Digital inspiration sessions with external speakers/ agencies
- Coach individual employees to improve performance in Digital skill areas
- Focus on Pure Player (eg ; Booze Bud) & Omnichannel customer base (eg : Dan Murphy’s)
- Ensure full connectivity of sales & marketing teams and overall organisation, and during annual integrated planning cycle
- Support sales and marketing teams to close any local content gaps
- Lead Pure Player Reporting & M&E (Measurement & Evaluation) are integrated to the monthly Digital Front Line Council (DFLC) reporting to enable a one full view of Digital acceleration progress for the Leadership Team (LT) to and Region/Global teams
- Drive all planned Digital marketing activities with a Consumer Experience Framework (CxF) mindset and learnings shared with wider teams
- Foster a culture of consumer listening and insight identification through initiatives such as Social Listening and Google trends
- Support creation & integration of local digital media plans by leveraging Region/Global SMEs at briefing stage and beyond
- Assist on deployment of best in class Social & Digital Influencer marketing through fixing basics and /or partnering on roll out or supporting Global initiatives like Social Studios
- Coordinate seamless implementation & execution of new initiatives in the Pure Player/ Omnichannel space with sales and marketing teams
- Steer ambitious First Party Data collection and retargeting plans in place
- Identify and enable new opportunities to drive efficiency/effectiveness featuring On Trade 121 Email Marketing, better leverage of existing tools (eg Bacardi Content Hub), and test & learn with data such as that of On Trade customers
- Perform regular situation assessments of what we are doing in Digital to identify gaps and investment opportunities
- Be the reference for new developments in the Digital space via desk research, external connections, learning & development courses and industry talks
- Represent for Bacardi at industry events to both showcase and learn on Digital
- Share and spin new initiatives to Region/other Clusters through DFLC network and marketing/digital commerce teams
- Lead the local Digital Front Line Council (DFLC) to ensure and/or enable flawless execution and connectivity of the five JTBDs* and ensure standardised monthly reporting is shared in the regular Australia & New Zealand Leadership Team meeting
Skills and Experience
- Proven growth mindset with strong change management and leadership skills
- Deep knowledge and experience working across the digital ecosystem: i) digital media (from streaming services to paid search and paid social and everything in between; ii) web-site performance; iii) digital commerce + omnichannel; iv) first party data (Acquisition, management and activation); v) organic social & search
- Combined 6+ years in Digital Marketing and eCommerce, with a track record of account management and creating exceptional value based on consumer and customer insights
- Ability to manage Hootsuite, Facebook Advertising, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and WordPress (or equivalent) would be an advantage
- Sales experience in digital commerce useful but not essential
- Effective analytical skills and ability to turn data into insights/actions/business value
- Fluency in English is mandatory
