About the role

This high-profile role offers an exciting career opportunity within the rapidly accelerating Bacardi Digital commerce business.  As the Digital Commerce Mexico Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for executing the digital commerce strategy for the key national customers with on-line activity: Oxxo, WalMart, Alianza, La Europea, etc.

You will be responsible for achieving revenue and profit objectives (P&L management), while building brand awareness, consideration and desire on the digital ecosystem. 

You will leverage this position to gain a full understanding of the consumer’s and shopper’s needs in the digital world, anticipate changes in the business environment and establish Bacardi brands as a leader in the eyes of our customers.

The role will require full collaboration and teamwork with the traditional KAMs and the Brand Managers to set-up actions with the right balance among the short and the long-term opportunities.
You will be measured by: Volume, NSV, GP and Trade & Media Investment efficiency, Digital Market Share and Sales Growth. You will also lead the digital section of the annual customer terms negotiations and the annual JBPs.

You will look to improve customer and channel profitability through mix management, brand strategy deployment, digital trade marketing and media tools maximization and digital promotional effectiveness. 
You will work closely across different levels of the organization to identify and develop Digital Commerce opportunities, including the local Commercial and Brand teams, Customer Marketing, Finance, Sales, Logistics, Supply Chain, Legal, Regulatory, among others.

You will report on a direct line to the Mexico Commercial Director and in dotted line to the LAC Digital Commerce Director.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

  • Create and implement key customer strategies to attain sales revenue targets and achieve company goals aligned to the Best10 Strategy (Key Markets, Win at the OnPremise, Reignite Mkt, Disrupt in Future Moments that Matter).
  • Contribute in the negotiation of the annual terms and JBP planning ensuring a long-term sustainable investment and growth model for Bacardi brands.
  • Stay tuned with the local Sales team to identify and build portfolio opportunities in alignment and harmony with the price and promotional strategies with the rest of the customers (avoid conflict due to commercial conditions).
  • P&L management ensuring YoY improvements in revenue and gross profit across key customers.
  • Work cross-functionally to manage trade investment and A&P budgets with Commercial Teams, Customer Marketing and Consumer Marketing. 
  • Identify, quantify and develop growth opportunities and communicate findings to the management team.
  • Act as the Digital Commerce expert for the market and help build broad organizational Digital commerce expertise in alignment with the regional and global teams.
  • Further develop existing customer & consumer relationships through fact-based industry and category insights both at higher category level as well as using retailer specific data.
  • Facilitate the building of strong top-to-top relationships with key customers.
  • Align the KPIs and measurement tools for the accurate and assertive follow-up of the ecommerce plans performance.
  • Analyse the facts and stats on D-commerce available from formal sources: IWSR, eMarketer, Euromonitor.

PERSONAL QUALITIES
  • 2 years of experience executing Digital Commerce plans for “.coms” of Mexico key retailers
  • Experience working in the spirits industry is preferred  
  • Passion for achievement; integrity and drive with a strong desire to make things happen 
  • Demonstrate financial and commercial acumen and strategic thinking 
  • Experience in P&L management 
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills 
  • Strategic account planning ability for JBP negotiations 
  • Confident and capable of operating at all levels & good team player 
  • Strong inter-functional leadership skills 
  • Proficient in Internet navigation, Microsoft tools and all relevant Digital Commerce mobile Apps.
