Your Opportunity

Join the fastest growing area of Bacardi by driving forward our Amazon Search efforts in an ever-growing and exciting area of the business. Be the backbone of our Amazon Search strategy, planning and execution, including reporting of results back to the business.

About You 

You will ensure that our organization has the insights and processes to capitalise on consumer trends, ensuring we are winning in real moments that matter. You are an expert in all things Amazon Search, able to hit the ground running to refine our strategy and drive forward efficient performance from both a Direct Revenue & Media standpoint by analyzing drivers & drags of performance at ad-type and placement level. Reporting into the Amazon Advertising Manager, you will ensure that the Amazon search plans and execution are complimentary to display activity, working in unison to successfully create and subsequently convert demand into sales. You are passionate about emerging technologies and broader performance marketing, with a key vision as to how Bacardi will evolve within the Amazon Advertising.

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:

Support the Amazon Advertising Manager in the creation and execution of best-in-class campaigns, with ownership of the on-platform Search component, across Europe.

You must be able to take a strategic business approach while managing multiple projects, partner relationships, and agency relationships. You must demonstrate comfort in advising brands, balancing strategy to action, influencing across levels and communicating the programming and information with simplicity, speed and maximum impact.
  • Working closely with agency partner to ensure seamless end-to-end activation of Amazon Search plans, aligned to overarching Amazon channel strategy
  • Working with Amazon side point-of-contact to capitalise upon new opportunities (ad types, new markets, reporting & insight features)
  • Assessing current Amazon Paid Search strategy and suggesting improvements/changes based on insights gained from data analysis
  • Consistently deep-dive into performance to fuel insights, trends and unlock future growth opportunities that will drive engagement with the right consumer base (by brand/by occasion)
  • Aligned to the above, briefing into agency A/B testing of ads, copy & product combinations to drive high volumes of revenue in the most efficient manner
  • Tight budget management to ensure money is invested in the right areas, making the most of the opportunity available
  • Analysing performance to find diminishing point of returns on investment in order to ensure performance is as efficient as possible
  • Establishing minimum spend thresholds to ensure all activity is commercially worthwhile
  • Working closely with brand teams in order to have a full suite of content regularly updated and refreshed according to seasonality & key moments
  • Regular contact with brand and commercial teams to ensure our paid search activity is promoting the most salient products from both standpoints

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • 2+ years eCommerce Paid Search experience - Amazon experience strongly preferable
  • A bachelor´s degree is required
  • Deeply-analytical mindset
  • Experience in taking reporting insights and turning them into actionable strategic points
  • Proven success in developing key partner relationships
  • Strong presentation & communication skills as well as proficiency in numeracy
  • Informed on technology, trends and partners in the digital space with refined understanding of how to implement relevant change
  • Strong industry knowledge (Internal and External)
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; further languages of Spanish, Italian French and/or German are a plus
