About the role

As the Divisional Head you will be responsible to deliver key revenue and Commercial targets for your division as determined by the Country financial plan.

You will deliver Bacardi Commercial Way assets (e.g. Picture of Success) and approach with excellence to activate our brands to influence consumers at the point of purchase.

You will lead the Cluster/State Managers Field Sales Country to drive implementation of Commercial best practices. 

You will be accountable for optimizing the return on Investment across your division

As the Divisional Head, you will be accountable for creating value through driving sales and leading & developing a strong team in South. You will create the legacy of Bacardi and drive the company’s presence and growth in South division. Your deep Commercial knowledge, ability to develop strategic relationships and lead a Sales team will be key to your success in this role.


  • Drive results & excellence in execution 
    • Deliver on key financial targets (NSV, Gross Profit)
    • Deliver on Pictures of Success(PoS) targets to deliver excellence in execution.  
    • Develop and manage the sales plan for your area based on delivery of Commercial priorities and the Country Integrated Activity Plan (IAP)
    • Monitor state wise performance on a monthly/quarterly basis to ensure delivery of forecast and budget volume & value.
    • Build and maintain effective long-term relationships with customers, and key stakeholders 
    • Manage A&P spends & Trade schemes as per the budget 
    • Drive brand mix for premiumization 
    • Drive achievement of Legacy targets

  • Develop talent and capability 
    • Implement learning  and development plans for your team
    • Train and coach your team
    • Implement standardized Commercial best practices
    • Input into decisions related to key people in your  team
    • Connect resources and capabilities (e.g. Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Point of Sale (POS), research, selling support materials) to support local business objectives

  • Create a winning team
    • Work with the Cluster/State Manager to build a shared sense of purpose among your sales teams
    • Align all employees behind the targets and create a passion for winning in the organization
    • Recognize & Reward accomplishments and behaviors in a timely manner
    • Ensure all employees have a knowledge of Bacardi history and culture

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Customer Marketing  (e.g. Purchaser/Shopper Marketing, Category Management Sales and Channel Strategy)
  • Commercial skills gained through hands on Commercial roles 
  • Experience in roles related to understanding customer and channel dynamics
  • Proficiency in English language skills
The following experiences are preferred:
  • Sales / Marketing experience 
  • Experience within one or more companies that have an established reputation for category management excellence 
  • Experience in the Spirits and/or overall beverage Industry is a distinct advantage 
  • Local Country language(s) knowledge
