About the role

In this role you will work in accordance with the company strategy, by developing  the most effiencient and effective resource and process to implement e-commerce in the organization. This in order to achieve the sales/marketing/ profit target, and ensure the company can achieve the whole performance objective. 

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

  • Direct & Manage the Benelux E-commerce channel’s sales, productivity, profitability through analysis (e.a. conversion, share and ROI) , ideation, and management.
  • Devise and manage customer marketing campaigns to maximize sales from our existing and potential shoppers  in collaboration with our Marketing, CPA & IPD departements
  • Develop E-commerce marketing calendar with an understanding of the company’s overall digital and marketing calendars and product strategy.
  • Leverage merchandising and content expertise to help develop a best-in-class online/digital experience that maximizes our conversion opportunities and encourages loyalty and frequency.
  • Concept and collaborate with the commercial team to develop promotional programs to increase sales, retain existing customers, in basket size and encou rage more and better return visits.
  • Manage, lead and develop E-commerce discipline internally & externally to achieve our goals.
  • The E-Commerce Manager will leverage their position to gain a full understanding of the customer’s needs, anticipate changes in the business environment and establish Bacardi Martini brands as a leader in the eyes of the (e)retail customer and end (e)retail shopper. 
  • Given the nature of this sector the role will require dynamic thinking and quick action to maximise both long and short-term opportunities. He/she will work on partnerships and tailor made projects.This role will also look to improve customer profitability through brand strategy deployment, onsite merchandising and promotional effectiveness. 
  • The E-Commerce Manager will act as a solutions manager, analysing and proactively responding to industry, consumer, and competitive trends to capitalise on growth opportunities and increase sales and market share to win externally (e.a.new channel opportunities like on demand delivery and marketplaces).
  • The candidate needs to be pragmatic and hands on, to quickly convert theory & opportunities into action.

Critical experiences for success

To be successful in this role you will have/be: 
  • At least 6 years commercial and/or Marketing experience in Benelux at managerial level
  • Good knowledge of Belgian and Dutch grocery players
  • Premium brand, fashion or spirits industry experience & knowledge is preferable
  • Experience in demand-ware or other enterprise-class E-commerce store platforms
  • Wider digital knowledge – other channels
  • Can demonstrate good use of reports/analysis to plan actions and improvements
  • Good communication and excellent team player
  • Time management, organization and prioritization of tasks
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in English
