About the role

Your Opportunity 

This high-profile role offers an exciting career opportunity within the rapidly accelerating Bacardi eCommerce business for the Latin American region.

This role will be instrumental in driving Bacardi’s eCommerce strategy in the short and long term. You will have full results responsibility across the entire portfolio for the E-commerce platforms in the region. 
Given the nature of eCommerce, the role will require dynamic thinking and quick action to maximize and monitor both long- and short-term opportunities (Volume, NSV, GP and Trade/Media Investment, as well as Market Share and Sales Growth).

About You

You will work closely across different levels of the organization to identify and develop eCommerce opportunities, including the Brand teams, Customer Marketing, Sales, Finance and Supply Chain interactions. 

In this role, you will look to improve customer profitability through mix management, brand strategy deployment, onsite merchandising, and promotional effectiveness – and share your learnings with the global eCommerce organization. 


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be
  • Create and implement key customer strategies to attain sales revenue targets and achieve company goals, always keeping the consumer at the heart. This customers include Delivery Apps, Marketplaces and E-retailers.
  • Responsibility for negotiating annual terms and IAP planning ensuring a long-term sustainable investment and growth model 
  • Full responsibility of the P&L ensuring YoY improvements in revenue and gross profit across all customers 
  • Full accountability with Trade and A&P budgets:  Work cross-functionally to manage trade investment and A&P budgets, reports and follow up with spendings.
  • Set up Ways of work with local markets, accomplishing long term agreements to develop E-commerce partners to assure the right develop of the digital ecosystem. 
  • Identify, quantify, and develop growth opportunities and communicate findings to the local and global management team 
  • Act as the eCommerce expert for the region. Lead, plan and execute the short and long term strategic plan and help build broad organizational eCommerce expertise by coaching and training local resources.
  • Further develop existing customer relationships through fact-based industry and category insights both at higher category level as well as using partners specific data 
  • Facilitate the building of strong top-to-top relationships with key customer executives 
  • Ensure alignment and integration of eCommerce into the customer marketing teams

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • 5+ years of direct selling, managing, planning & marketing experience with E-commerce partners, including Delivery Apps, Marketplaces and E-retailers. 
  • FMCG expertise is valued.
  • Ability to determine current and future eCommerce trends, having an emphasis on planning, forecasting, building eCommerce and internal specific programs 
  • Demonstrate financial and commercial acumen and strategic thinking 
  • Extensive experience in P&L management and developing new accounts.
  • Strong negotiation skills 
  • Strategic account planning ability through IAP negotiations 
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in Internet navigation, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 
  • Bilingual (Spanish – English) is a must
