About the role

Achieve results through leadership and coaching of the regional sales team who manage the day to day relationships with customers within the region.
Accountable for the regions customer(s), £NSV and £GP delivery. Ultimate accountability for team negotiating the commercial terms and driving the performance of brands across the regional customer base:
  • Deliver results through your team.
  • Lead and coach the regional team who in turn develop and nurture customer relationships across the region and territories.
  • Activation of BBFB brands within your customer base using Bacardi Commercial Way (AVQPAP & “Picture of Success”).
  • Provision of clear up to date inputs v key business processes e.g. Quarterly and annual brand activation plans, new business and renewal contract forecasting, annual Bottom Up Plan creation through regional strategy plans

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a regional sales team (10 Direct Reports)
  • Deliver budgeted £NSV and £GP targets within the defined sales region (North West & Northern Ireland) 
  • Deliver picture of success (outlet execution) objectives
  • Deliver BBFB brand value and volume independent free trade market shares target within the region
  • Deliver brand distribution objectives across BBFB portfolio within the North West and Northern Ireland sales region
  • Leadership and development of the regional business plan
  • Ultimate responsibility for “Winning In Key City” strategy (Manchester and Liverpool) & success within defined key cities
  • Ensure marketing activities are synchronized and properly activated by teams & customers 
  • Ensure accuracy and maintenance of key business processes
  • Execute Bacardi Sales Way targets (distribution, visibility etc.) with customers, aligned to Business KPIs.
  • Ensure creation and maintenance of Joint Business Plans with key customers in order to ensure that targets are achieved (volumes, value, distribution and visibility targets)
  • Ensure New Product Development targets are delivered on time to quality execution standards
  • Share and collect best practice across channels and customers 
  • Develop and maintain a live people plan including talent management, succession planning and performance improvement where necessary
  • Put in place a thorough personal development plan for each direct report

Field Sales Specific
  • Responsible for leading, developing and coaching the Scotland field sales team.

Critical experiences for success

Work Experience and Functional Competencies required:
  • Minimum of 3 years commercial experience in sales team leadership, National Account management and/or marketing
  • Track record of customer development and cross functional working
  • Full P&L management experience
  • Imperative that candidate must have significant key account management experience as a minimum
