About the role
- Deliver results through your team.
- Lead and coach the regional team who in turn develop and nurture customer relationships across the region and territories.
- Activation of BML brands within the customers using Bacardi Commercial Way (AVQPAP & “Picture of Success”).
- Provision of clear up to date inputs to key business processes e.g. Quarterly and annual brand activation plans, new business and renewal contract forecasting, annual Bottom Up Plan creation through regional strategy plans
Responsibilities
- Leadership and coaching of a regional sales team (7 Direct Reports)
- Delivery of budgeted £GP targets with the defined sales region
- Delivery of Picture of Success (outlet execution) objectives
- Deliver BML brand value and volume independent free trade market shares target within the region
- Deliver brand distribution objectives across BML portfolio within sales region
- Leadership and development of the regional business plan including
- Ultimate responsibility for “Winning In Key City” strategy and success in Edinburgh and Glasgow
- Responsibility of owing the Winning in Whisky Scotland plan
- Ensure marketing activities are synchronized and properly activated by teams & customers
- Ensure accuracy and maintenance of key business processes
- Executing Bacardi Sales Way targets (distribution, visibility…) with customer, aligned with Business KPIs.
- Ensure creation and maintenance of Joint Business Plans with key customers in order to ensure that key targets are achieved at customers (volumes, values targets)
- Ensure New Product Development targets are delivered on time and quality execution standards
- Share and steal best practices across channels and customers
- Ensure that all sales processes and tools are followed and compliant to standard
- Development and maintenance of a live people plan including talent management, succession planning and performance improvement where necessary
- Embed Belongings in every aspect of the role
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 1 years commercial experience in sales team leadership, national account management and/or marketing
- Track record of customer development and cross functional working
- Imperative that candidate must have significant key account management experience as a minimum
