About the role

Your Opportunity

You will be acting on behalf of a financial Business Partner in supporting and enabling the responsibility for our finances within customers P&L, Product Pricing etc. Your Job will not only ensure the correct measurements for analysing our finances but also improving processes and planning. While also giving financial insights to increase the level of revenue generated.

About You 

To be successful in this role you need to bring an extended knowledge in finance, the necessary accuracy & structural thinking. A result driven attitude with an ambitious vision and personal goal setting will bring your own characteristic goals in this function.


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Act as Finance Business Partner to the organization
  • Lead the financial budgeting and planning process for the commercial team in close collaboration with the Cluster Performance Manager
  • Drive value growth through pricing, trade spend optimization and product mix together with the Revenue Growth Manager
  • Support the Sales team with the management and control of turnover, trade spend and pricing
  • Provide timely analysis on top line performance, creating insights that drive actions
  • Manage the monthly and quarterly closing process ensuring that the P&L accurately reflects reality
  • Support the S&OP process with financial insights and identify, evaluate and communicate risks and opportunities to the business
  • Manage SOX controls around SDS related topics, specifically around Rebates Management
  • Continuously look to improve and simplify our processes as they relate to the planning, reporting and performance measurements of our customers and brands and how we use our supporting systems and tools (i.e.: SAP BI, Anaplan etc.)

  • Strong track record of performance and delivery within Finance in a FMCG environment with multiple years in a managerial role
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable with ambiguity, able to develop complex ideas and summarise them into concise insights and recommendations
  • Capable of communicating precisely, effectively and convincingly based on facts with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work seamlessly within a matrix organisation
  • Strong commercial expertise and ability to think strategically
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, able to work autonomously and under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
  • Team player with hands on mindset
  • Process focused with an understanding of end to end business processes and their financial impacts
  • Skilled at organizing and prioritizing multiple projects and resource constraints to optimize results
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, SAP/ ECC and BI
  • Proficiency in German and English language
  • Highly analytical and able to quickly identify and analyze risks and impacts and define alternatives
  • Strong accuracy & reliability
  • Capable of communicating precisely, effectively and convincingly based on facts with internal and external stakeholders alike
  • Self-motivated, self-directed and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
