YOUR OPPORTUNITY

Local Finance Manager is responsible for the overall direction on the daily finance and accounting routine in Brazilian Market. The coordination, implementation, execution and controlling of finance measures provided by Statutory P&L Results, Balance Sheet Analysis, (In/Ex) Audit Controls, Alignment with Shared Services Center and Working Capital Management are most valuables responsibilities on this challenge.

Responsibilities

Across roles, leveraging your experience, expertise, and financial acumen to help us building a sustainable and strong business in Brazil. Make History!

Drive results & Excellence in Execution:
  • Monitor local cash-flows and Balance Sheet providing management with accounting technical information to aid decision-making process.
  • Liaise with local banks and Business Customers.
  • Ensuring legal entity compliance with transfer pricing guard rails.
  • Working closely with Brazil Leadership to deliver reports, analysis findings, potential risk areas and forecast opportunities.
  • Ensure adequate level of Internal Controls. SOX Process Country Leader.
  • Act as an effective Business Partner to Brazilian Bacardi Cluster.
  • Ensure right level of service agreed in the SLA is provided by the Shared Services Center.
  • Coordinate Tax audits with local tax authorities following Global Tax guidelines.
  • Hiring, training and retaining skilled accounting staff.
  • Liaise with Internal / External Audits and implement action plans from audit recommendations.
Creating a Winning Team
  • Leading the Controllership agenda/area for Brazil and work in close partnership with Business Leaders, Shared Service Center Teams and Regional Finance Leader.
  • Create a culture of excellence in execution that recognizes and rewards High Performance Primos.
Measure of Success
  • Local statutory compliance with regulations ensuring integrity and accuracy of financial information.
  • Coordinate right level of funding and capital structure aligned with Global Treasury.
  • Ensure new regulations affecting (or potentially affecting) the business are communicated to the relevant people.
  • Shared Service Center service is in line with SLA. Management and Financial Reporting.

Skills and Experience

SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY

  • 10+ years of accounting / finance experience in multinational environment
  • Strong accounting and financial technical skills. Ability to work independently.
  • Authentic, inclusive leadership, with the demonstrated ability to inspire and engage a diverse team.
  • Acknowledge of accounting principles/procedures and experience with creating financial statements.
  • Ability to form strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Energetic and motivated personality with great multi-tasking approach.
  • Developing great talent and high performing teams.
  • Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Bachelors or master’s qualifications in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration.
  • English is a must have. Spanish is nice to have.
  • SAP knowledge.
