About the role

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

You will act as Business Partner and will hold responsibility for Bacardi Germany accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Accounts Payables and Receivables, etc.
Your Job will not only ensure the measurements for correct accounting but also improving the control framework, while also ensuring financial and tax compliance with the local government and legislation. You will act in close collaboration with our Shared Service Centre and our Centres of Excellence.

Responsibilities

WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE

Drive results & excellence in execution
  • Manage local statutory accounting
  • DSO Reduction, Optimization of Working Capital, and Cash Flow Management
  • Ensure right level of service agreed in the SLA is provided by BBS
  • Ensure adequate level of internal controls and their adequate adjustment to new requirements
  • Liaise with internal / external audits
  • Implement action plans from audit recommendations
  • SOX testing when applicable
  • Liaise with local banks
  • Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
  • Coordinate Tax audits with local tax authorities following Global Tax guidelines
  • Application of Finance & Accounting Best Practices
  • Supervise legal activities and compliance

Skills and Experience

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
  • 3-5 years of relevant Finance experience as well as University Degree in Business Administration or similar
  • Strong accounting (Local Accounting Standards & IFRS) and taxation knowledge
  • IT literate, excellent MS Excel knowledge, familiarity with SAP ERP system and integrated business analysis tool is a strong plus
  • Excellent German and English skills, written and spoken
