The Operational Excellence Manager will be responsible for leading our ongoing efforts to enable a culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of our business operations.

This position has a strong emphasis on improving workflow efficiencies, enhancing quality outcomes, and strengthening our control environment with the goal of consistently delivering value for our consumers.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
  • Partner with operational teams and business partners to plan, execute and oversee the implementation of process improvement projects. Provide a cross-functional perspective, promote standardization and best practice sharing.
  • Serve as a process optimization internal advisor to business leaders to analyse complex business problems and make recommendations.
  • Support business case development for process optimization focused initiatives within Bacardi Enterprise Services.
  • Leverage objective, data-driven Lean Six Sigma tools and methods in all process improvement work. i.e. Value Stream Mapping, FMEA, Measurement Systems Analysis
  • Develop and deploy control plans and monitoring reports which help the business sustain the gains from process improvements. Align with Business Intelligence Manager and applicable governance.
  • Coach others in the practical use of Lean Six Sigma tools and methods.
  • Deliver expected benefits from improvement initiatives which may include operational efficiencies, expense savings, improved customer experience, revenue growth, enhanced quality, and/or regulatory excellence.

Skills and Experience

SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration, finance/accounting or another related field
  • Broad and deep experience in shared services operations - 5 or more years.
  • Work experience with process design, transformation and improvement projects, preferably using
  • Lean/Six Sigma and/or other quality methodologies
  • Work experience with deploying mid-to-large scale IT systems and/or centralized shared services – 5 or more years.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
