About the role

YOUR OPPORTUNITY
As the analytics intern for the global travel retail team, you will focus on delivering data, analytics, & insights to help drive business performance. Providing support across various GTR functions to ensure that consumer, shopper, commercial, & traveller data and insights are available and applied effectively to key decisions making.
This role provides a chance to take on a broad scope of responsibility, interacting & working with a global, multicultural team within a global channel.

You must be naturally curious with a desire to learn, quickly adapting to new tools and ways of working to help support the team in driving performance across all aspects of the business.
You must demonstrate close attention to detail and strong analytical skills to ensure the team keep at forefront of changes in the travel retail channel and stays ahead of the competition.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
  • You will play an integral role in maintaining the GTR teams’ data & analytics systems including data processes, master data management, & reporting dashboards. 
  • You will be responsible for refreshing and maintaining two key pillars of GTR reporting SFA (sales force automation) and sell out EPOS reporting.
  • You will be responsible for GTR master data management system ‘Profisee’, ensuring consistency and integrity of GTR mappings and hierarchies.
  • You will support the maintenance and updating of the GTR ‘Power BI’ reporting dashboard.
  • You will be prepared to work across functions and teams, supporting a variety of projects and initiatives where needed.

Skills and Experience

SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, in particular Microsoft Excel. 
  • Comfort working with multiple large & complex data sets.
  • Experience with Power BI and Python beneficial.
