You will manage and develop our Retail Ambassadors who sell directly to consumers, and you will oversee brand building activations that incorporate an omnichannel approach.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE

Customer Management
  • Responsible for all GTR customers based in New Zealand, Pacific Islands and Cruise
  • Implementation and tracking of Key Account trading agreements 
  • Review performance each month (sales out and sales in) and make necessary changes to resolve underperformance or drive incremental sales
  • Accurate forecasting to ensure high levels of availability
  • Manage A&P budget
Internal Stakeholders
  • Working in a matrix across different functions and geographical territories
  • Support the Supply Chain function in GTR. Forecast accuracy is a very important KPI and will require a base understanding of how to use SAP
  • Support the Customer Marketing function to implement our brand activations. A&P is the joint responsibility of the Area Manager and the Key Account team.
  • Proactive alignment with International Key account teams seeking local opportunities & pushing for implementation
  • Support the Finance function to report on the performance of Australia & New Zealand each month. This also means setting up the correct rebates for price promotions so that we report NSV and GP accurately.
  • Responsible for setting annual Budget and A&P based on excellent understanding of customer dynamics
  • Manage our Retail Ambassador team to maintain ‘best in class’ model for the airport retail channel.
  • Training/ arranging for training the team of retail ambassadors on our brands.
General
  • Attend internal meetings and provide updates for reports
  • Full support of Regional Manager/KAM to ensure world class customer management
  • Act as ambassador for Bacardi Travel Retail aiming to be best in class
  • Actively use internal communication tools such as Yammer
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
  • Exceed Budget in ‘the right way’
  • Supply Chain: Forecast accuracy
  • Financial Control: Managing A&P / Controlling T&E
  • Grow share of premium products in  GTR ANZ 
  • Improve our distribution and visibility scores in key airport locations

Skills and Experience

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY

To be successful in this role you will have/be: 
  • Commercial and Financial acumen 
  • Fluent in English, with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Proved ability to work in cross functional teams
  • Understanding of Bacardi business, brands, process and system
  • Good IT literacy (Excel, Word, SAP, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to prioritize and adaptable to change
  • Willingness to travel 
The following experiences are preferred:
  • Experience in the Spirits Industry and/or Beverages is a distinct advantage
  • Experience in working with multi-country, travel retail customers
  • Commercial background 
  • Experience in planning / logistics / customer management role
  • Excellent PC Skills (MS office)
  • Marketing and Sales experience in FMCG
