About the role

The Customer Planner for Central Europe is a key position within the European Travel Retail team. The role provides a critical link between Global Travel Retail (GTR) and the domestic teams to ensure that we provide customers with high levels of service. The primary responsibilities are managing and improving the Supply Chain, managing pricing, rebates for price promotions and  monitoring our A&P spend for the region.  
GTR is a brand building channel and it is the Customer Planner’s responsibility to work to the highest standards of  operational excellence when we make changes to our brands and launch new products

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

Customer Management:
  • Active communication with key accounts
  • Send out overall information to customer about product & price changes
  • Prepare, adjust and send price lists
  • Handle invoices, customer requests on a daily base
  • Handling of POS materials, GWP and on-pack promotions
Customer Planning:
  • Support Key Account & Customer Marketing Team in managing and controlling A&P budget
  • Handle all incoming A&P invoices
  • Manage back commission and price off process including accruals on a monthly base
  • Support Regional Finance Manager in monthly, quarterly and annual closing
  • Support Key Account Team in preparing budget submissions
Promotion Management:
  • Support, coordinate, implement and review promotions
  • Communicate with Agencies, Customer Marketing and Customers
  • Order POS material and handle POS warehouse and invoices
  • Prepare & support staff training for Key Account and promotion agencies

Critical experiences for success

  • Excellent communicator & team player
  • Financial understanding
  • Good IT skills (MS Office, SAP)
  • Very good command of both spoken and written English and German
  • Sound professional experience in customer management/commercial support in Global Travel Retail or Domestic Market
  • Experience in the Spirits Industry and/or Beverages is an advantage
