Your Opportunity

Working closely with the Dewar's brand team and in collaboration with the global markets you will play a critical role in the progression of the brand, providing key input as to how to execute our strategy. You will lead and manage your own brand activities as part of our defined strategy ensuring executional excellence with your added flair.

Responsibilities

With our consumer at the heart, your key focus will be:
  • Culture: Be Dewar’s global consumer, cultural and social media expert on our ‘Tastemaker’ target audience – identify cultural trends, insights and opportunities within Dewar’s key markets of US, Spain, India, Russia, Japan and China.
  • Support BTL/BVI: Support Dewar’s SBM in developing and delivering Global program toolkits.
  • Support - Social: As a social media and digital native, support the Senior Communications Manager in developing and delivering assets/cultural programming for the Global Social Calendar and key markets. 
  • Reporting, monthly & quarterly reporting from Talkwalker (social listening programme) across key social metrics. 
  • Drive collaboration of brand programming with brand partners and make sure all digital share touch points are up to date and accessible
  • Monitor key competitor activity in spirits and other relevant sectors, gather examples of best in class learnings and provide quarterly competitive overview
  • Gather global news and best in show practices for a global newsletter on a monthly basis, including campaign news examples, competitor activity, product launches, market activity and learnings

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • You have brand management experience in an FMCG or Lifestyle/Premium brand category
  • You are a social and digital native, comfortable with all social platforms and with previous experience of leveraging existing and new platforms
  • You are curious, driven and passionate – driven to learn, find new ways of doing things and looking at the world. You bring your own creative flair to everything you do, have your ‘finger on the pulse’ and are ingrained in culture
  • You either have global brand exposure or have worked in other countries
  • You must have an eye for detail, are committed to follow up on action points and are highly organized
  • You have a strong bias for action and focus on results, with a definite founder's mentality
