About the role

Working closely with the Dewar's whisky global brand team and in collaboration with the key markets you will play a critical role in the progression of the DEWAR'S brand, providing key inputs as to how to deliver DEWAR’S vision.

You will lead the development and implementation of education and advocacy programs for consumers, customers, sales teams, and trade influencers. In a complex, crowded whisky market, the Dewar’s Global Brand Ambassador role is especially critical to accelerating growth in emerging markets and gaining engagement via digital transformation.

About You:
You are super creative and digitally savvy with a strong social media presence, a huge curiosity and an eye for detail. A great collaborator and networker with a positive global mindset and an attitude to get things done. Not afraid to question the status quo and bring your own process and personality to the role, championing the brand in every way. A self-starter that can work under pressure and deal comfortably with ambiguity. You're highly passionate about whisky as a professional or consumer.

We have a hybrid working policy, you need to be based in the UK but will be expected to be in the London office (Spitalfieds Market) 1-2 days a week, the rest from home or with customers.


Developing and implementing education and advocacy programs for consumers, customers, sales teams and whisky influencers in key markets. Key focus:
To lead digital brand agenda among trade influencers/whisky communities
To lead the execution of 5 year Brand Advocacy Strategy
To support Top Star Awards agenda
To Design and control execution of “Stay Curious” experiential platform in on-premise
To align and help localise the brand advocacy agenda with global company strategy
To support and coordinate the team of local trade/brand ambassadors effectively

Skills and Experience

An understanding and experience of how to build and engage with communities online - able to influence and build relationships with professional bartender communities through social media and online webinars and tastings

Personally passionate about whisky and premium spirits with an inclusive approach and a global mindset 

Diverse Cultural & Geographical Experience and sensitivity, able to adapt your style to different needs

A confident public speaker and communicator, able to engage with a variety of people

Multi-functional experience: Innovation, Social Media, On-Trade Experience
