About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver the elements of the Global Procurement strategy in the allocated markets as well as identifying new cost optimization opportunities.
- Manage the relationship with various stakeholders (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain) to integrate Procurement plans to business reqruirements.
- Business Engagement. Manage the needs and expectations of the Busienss to drive satisfaction while ensuring compliance to procurement standarts and alignment with procurement startegies.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to ensure cross-category saving targets are achieved, and vlaue for money and efficencies are secured for the business.
- Supplier Relationship Management. Lead the interactions with critical suppliers including relationship building, data review and anlysis, performance management, and reliability improvement.
- Conduct markets analysis, run tender processes, use data anlysis and conduct negotiations with effective use of technology required across the function.
- Collect and analyse spend and market data in support of procurement startegies and proactievly use that to identify and drive through to conclusion new opportunities.
- Build and maintain knowledge of supply market and trends across different categories
- ESG. Helps to drive Bacardi ESG targets and ensure Bacardi external partners are adhere to them.
Skills and Experience
- Relevant experience in a Procurement function, preferably in a multinational environment in a complex matrix structure. / Cross functional experiences are also valued.
- Analytical skills to perform spend analysis in support of sourcing strategy development
- Excellent negotiations and relationship management skills
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills are required
- Demonstrated project management and leadership experience in leading cross-functional/international projects
- Planning and organizational skills
- Great presentation and communication skills
- Ability to influence and understand differing needs of stakeholders
- Preferred:
- Proficiency with core Procurement skills (e.g. Supplier Management and Performance, Supply Market Analysis, Cost Modelling, Category Management)
- Language Skills: Fluent English; French, German, Spanish would be an asset.
- Technical skills: SAP, BI, Excel
