About the role

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

As analytics manager you will lead the reporting and analytics agenda for the GTR team, driving growth through insights from data. You will always be looking to leverage the latest technologies to make sure the GTR team has the latest and best tools for understanding business drivers.
You will have strong commercial acumen and understanding of how data can be applied across business functions, guiding stakeholders on how and where to best use critical GTR data sources.
This role provides a chance to take on a broad scope of responsibility, interacting & working with a global, multicultural team within a global channel.

ABOUT YOU

You must be naturally curious with a desire to learn, quickly adapting to new tools and ways of working to help support the team.
You must demonstrate close attention to detail and strong analytical skills to keep at the forefront of changes in the travel retail channel. As a member of the GTR Family you will be in your comfort zone working and contributing across the matrix as part of a global team.

Responsibilities

WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
  • You will lead the GTR teams’ approach to data & analytics, including visualisation, automation, data processing, and master data management.
  • You will support business priorities and initiatives with your knowledge of the data sources available, asking the right questions and communicating insights effectively to support decision making.
  • You will be responsible for both the GTR team’s Power BI reporting environment, and approach to all data provided by external agencies, customers, and business partners.
  • You will be responsible for the GTR teams SFA (sales force automation) system, managing the full life cycle, from survey tracking, sales team support, to reporting and analytics.
  • You will lead a team of analysts that will support you in the deliver of GTR data strategy.

Skills and Experience

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
  • The ability to bridge the gap between tech and business functions, developing solutions for problems and answering business questions using data and analytics.
  • The ability to identify opportunities for improvement through new technologies or improved process. With the change management skills to lead the implementation.
  • Experience automating and implementing reporting and analytics systems from data acquisition to front end reporting
  • Experience in leading and managing individuals
  • Experience with both SFA systems and Power BI are required.
