This high-profile role offers an exciting career opportunity within the rapidly accelerating Bacardi HR Department.

The HR Manager s primarily responsible for the delivery of day-to-day HR activities to our employees  (“primos”) ensuring that the company upholds best practices, remains legislatively compliant and can work with others to maintain a cohesive, productive, and positive work environment and strong team culture.

Besides the opportunity to develop your people management skills, you will also have the opportunity to work and communicate across geographical and cultural borders that will enable you to build a strong professional network.

About You

In this role, you will play the key role of delivering seamless HR operational support to the local organization. You are process-driven, can collaborate with multiple internal teams and stakeholders as well as handle information with discretion, tact and professionalism.

You will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to help cultivate a strong and innovative our culture pillars (“3F”) as we grow at a rapid pace. 


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Provide support and guidance to employees in the areas of compensations and benefits, talent management and development, performance management process and review, retention and effective record-keeping and general HR related issues
  • Manage and maintain HRIS (Workday) for any internal employee changes including processing of internal moves, exit process, and personal information changes, etc., and provide appropriate analysis and reporting to ensure effective insights are available
  • Review and update HR policies and procedures based on local regulations and global corporate HR policy
  • Drive full cycle of recruitment process for positions in Japan
  • Collaborate with Finance department on budget planning of company’s people and structure costs
  • Participate in global wide HR projects to execute initiatives for organization and management needs
  • Be the ambassador of HR programs advocating the existing handy information as well as promoting the new and upgraded initiatives

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Native in Japanese and Proficient English ability is a must
  • University Graduates with considerable experience (at least 5 years) as an HR Manager in a matrixed, global environment.
  • Familiarity with Japan labour law
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize and a strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Workday is preferred
  • Able to work in a fast-moving and challenging environment dealing with numerous people at different levels of organization
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and voice suggestions on best practice in a logical and reasonable manner
  • Good communication skills with the ability to partner with employees and managers locally and internationally
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good customer service skills with continuous improvement mentality
