About the role

Your Challenge

In this role you will be accountable for leading the overall delivery of the cluster Integrated Activity Plan, ensuring excellent execution is at the forefront of all our consumer, shopper & customer facing activity. 
  • You will be the go to individual for all aspects relating to the IAP (planning & execution) within your market and will be responsible for ensuring senior level stakeholders are informed and consulted on key matters in the delivery and development of your local activity plans.   
  • You will be responsible for a team of customer marketing managers but will also work closely with the regional marketing team to ensure local market considerations are built into the development of regional programs.
  • You will play a pivotal role in aligning local departments (sales, marketing, supply & finance) behind the process of IAP and responsible for development and execution of winning activation plans at the point of purchase.

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Partnering with marketing and commercial teams to win by uniting channel execution and brand desire whilst building outstanding shopper insight-led omni-channel programming and tools across all our brands
  • Ensure we deliver on the Marketing needs of commercial channels across the cluster, consistently and effectively.
  • Owns and leads measurement and evaluation within the cluster to drive clear insights and optimization transforming the plans based on insights taken from high quality M&E
  • Lead the overall delivery of Integrated Activity Plan for the cluster, ensuring excellent execution is at the forefront of all of our consumer, shopper & customer facing activity. 
  • You will be the go to individual for all aspects relating to the IAP (planning & execution) within your market and will be responsible for ensuring senior level stakeholders are informed and consulted on key matters in the delivery and development of your local activity plans.  
  • Champion commercial excellence and best in class execution through best practice sharing and effectiveness insights and learnings.
  • You will lead and develop a team of customer marketing primos, coaching them to boost their performance, support their growth, and continue to build a highly effective team 
  • You will also work closely with the regional team to ensure local market considerations are built into the development of regional programs and build best practice in the cluster to build a stronger European plan
  • You will play a key role in aligning key local departments (sales, marketing, finance) behind the IAP process ensuring timings and input are respected and adhered to.
  • Steward the A&P investment to ensure we stay true to our big bets, focus heavily on desire and have a positive ROI
  • As Head of CPA you will be a key member of the Iberia Leadership Team supporting the direction and delivery of the strategy, value creation and P&L metrics. As a member of the Cluster Leadership Team you will be a driving force in the innovation strategy and perfect execution in channels with a transparent, agile, one team approach. 
  • The nature of the role will mean most of your time will be spent within the market, however given the matrix working within the team some travel will be necessary across WEUR

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Strong, proven high performing marketing/commercial leader with extensive experience across multiple channels, preferably with a premium / FMCG  background 
  • Shopper / customer marketing experience
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to create plans, able to prioritize, strong problem solving skills and able to drive high standards of execution
  • Advanced in leading process and managing multiple stakeholders (local, regional, global)
  • Advanced in developing and adjusting channel strategies and identifying most effective shopper opportunities
  • Advanced in recommending adjustments to the plan to meet business goals and customer requirements. 
  • Advanced in engaging and motivating others to communicate plans effectively 
  • Experienced in understanding customers business to drive growth
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deal with ambiguity
  • Comprehension of competitive market for brand and Category in the cluster and how to use available data to develop initiatives to grow the brand
  • Experience of leading, coaching and inspiring a mid-sized team, in different locations
  • Understanding of business P&L and A&P investment elements
  • Essential firsthand operational experience of the Spanish market 
  • Fluent in Spanish
