About the role

Your Opportunity

As the Human Resources Business Partner Cataño PR you play an important role contributing to our Primos growth and development. Supporting the deployment of local and global programs and initiatives to ensure we have a strong talent pipeline and sustain our culture and work environment. 

About You 

With a Family driven mentality, you develop and influence the best practices and programs to promote a work environment that enables our Primos to be the best version of themselves. You empower our Primos to take care of each other maximize our total rewards platform and enjoy their journey to excellence.


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Serve as advisor to our management team to support decision process regarding work environment issues.
  • Support our culture and engagement platforms in accordance with our Pillars and Family values.
  • Identify the best talent for current and future recruitment strategies. Participate of interview process and talent acquisition activities.
  • Support senior leadership team to build strong succession and development plans for their functions / teams.
  • Administer the compensation and benefits platform to ensure communication, education and management. Including, health benefits, pension and deferred compensation plans.
  • Serve as liaison for retirees and retirement benefits administration teams.
  • Collaborate with the Benefits and Health Center to design and deploy the best initiative to support our Primos wellness and welfare.
  • Promote and maintain continuous communication with union leadership and unionized Primos. 
  • Support collective agreement administration and serve as liaison with legal team to ensure proper case management.
  • Ensure compliance with local, federal and global regulatory requirements.

Skills and Experience

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration with equivalent experience in Human Resources management.
  • Working knowledge of local and federal labor laws and regulations, including labor relations.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in human resources management, talent development and comp and benefits.
  • Knowledge of MS office suite and MS Teams. 
  • Previous experience working with unions is a plus.
  • Fluent communication in Spanish and English is a must.
