About the role

Your Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to be part of our global operations HR team and play an important regional role in our organization to raise the bar and help us in our data protection journey!

You will build deep partnership at a global, regional, and local level, across Bacardi. You will play a major role driving the Data Protection compliance within operations in Americas across our plants.

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Work closely with local HR Operations teams to align ways of working to current global operations objectives in term of data protection compliance and to global data privacy strategy, principles, and practices
  • Work closely with local HR Operations Team to implement new Way of Working across the department and plants
  • Ensure local HR Operations teams follow their local legislation and are also align with the company’s policy is in accordance and with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), codes of practice when applicable
  • Review and Advise local HR Operations teams on data processing requirements, including on data collection, data storage, and other processing activities 
  • Evaluate the existing data protection framework and identify areas of non or partial compliance and rectify any issues across all plants in collaboration with local HR Operations
  • Help HR Operations team to update Global Company System “One Trust”
  • Partner HR Operations teams and with business leaders to provide necessary training and/or direction to team members on privacy awareness and issues
  • Prepare and maintain data maps, inventory, and related activities for the organization
  • Work closely with local HR Operations Team to implement new way of working across the department and plants
  • Promote a culture of data protection compliance across all plants of the organization
  • Help local HR Operation Provide expert advice and educate employees on important data compliance requirements
  • Inform and advise the HR Lead, Data Controller or Data Processor on all matters related to data protection

  • Demonstrate accountability and capability to work independently with confidence to ask for support when required.
  • Ability to find effective ways of working within a matrix organization, and within a fast-changing environment. 
  • Managing stakeholder expectations in relation to delivery & execution.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with teams across different geographies and cultures.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience working in Human Resources 
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Language Requirements: English and Spanish is essential, other European Languages is an asset.
